Halifax Reward Current Account

I applied for a Reward Current Account the other day and it said after the application that they'd be in touch within 14 days. However, today when I logged on to their online service I got a pop-up window telling me I could add a recently opened account. It then let me tick a box and add the Reward Current Account to my online profile.
However, I cannot access anything - there is no link to click into the account (like the other accounts showing i.e. online savers and easycash) and I cannot transfer into it either. I've heard that Halifax always generate an a/c number even if they decline you but my question is do you think i've been declined because if so why did it offer me the facility to add the account? BUT I think it may have declined because it won't let me click into it - or is this normal until they write to me or something??.... anyone able to help - please?
Is this normal behaviour for accepted accounts or do you think its a decline, i.e. when I logged in yesterday and even this morning I never got this pop-up so i'm wondering if someone has opened the account for me and the reason I cannot click into it is because they are writing to me or something - HELP!??? LOL
i.e. is it normal, if you open an account online, that you cant use it (transfer in etc) immediately? If so then I bet its a decline :-(
I'm just a little pessamistic due to 3 refusals from halifax in the last 2 months LOL...

I've just tried to open another account (lol) and this time, unlike the last, it shows up on my portfolio immediately. This time it has a link underneath saying Application Decision which obviously isn't there yet.....
I'm confused now - lol
Last time it never done any of this, it just said thanks we'll write in 14 days so why is everything different this time I wonder?
Any help much appreciated.....
ALSO, are they restricting people to one reward account cos this one is called a Halifax Current Account not the Halifax Reward Current Account like my other one is listed as..... hmmmm the plot thickens and makes me wonder if i've just shot myself in the foot by reapplying LOL (especially if they are looking at opening the reward account) - i'm sooooooo confused!
Also, the new account applied for today doesn't show on the add/remove accounts but the reward one does - i'm wondering if maybe, just maybe they've accepted me.....Some say he is a racist, others say he is a liar but the truth will always prevail...

It may be that you have to activate the account with minimum £100 - When i opened a regular saver (+ web saver nominated account) the websaver was showing at £0 but blanked out until I transferred some money into it.0

Thanks for this, makes sense but it won even let me transfer into them, thus i'm wondering what they will write to me.

Notice the top account has the blue link on the account number - this is my easycash account that is live. I opened 3 halifax reward accounts last sun, they were all showing as application decision like yours. On the Tuesday, 2 of them were opened and i couldn transfer money in and out. The 3rd one is still yet to be opened, i went into branch yesterday and was told it was stuck in limbo, but she clicked some buttons and it's back in the queue to be looked at, i should have decision by mon or tues.0

Can you read post #1 please - notice the top account on the list (reward account), this doesn't have application decision and because a pop-up told me about it, i'm wondering if I have to go in branch cos it's been opened?

Regards to the message you get when you click application decision, it says this:

Do they let you open more than 1? So that means you will get £15/month if you meet the payin requirement?
LOL I don't think i'm even getting the one! If u read other threads they stopped this and only let you open one now - the others get declined usually.....Some say he is a racist, others say he is a liar but the truth will always prevail...
