Molly, you should still be registered at the practice I think  unless have they not replaced ur dentist? I never see the same dentist more than twice coz I'm with the newbie at ours and they only stay for a year then move on

  • Help I am very confussed. I had a mc last week i had bloods done but they still had a high level of hormones in nothing strange there as the nurse told me they can hang around for a week or 2 so I have just been back to the hosp for more blood samples so that they can confirm that levels are back to normal and they can discharge me.

The confussing bit is that my pg hormone levels have actually increased:confused:
I had an internal and extrenal scan last week and they def said no baby.
i have been bleeding for 12 days and have now stopped. I passed quite a few clots and tissue. The docs were at the time happy that my mc was complete. I am booked in for another internal on thurs.

I just don't know what to think. Anyone else had this and it turned out to be an ectopic pg? this is all i can think off. I can't let myself believe that i am still pg as when i have my scan it will be like going through the mc all again. nightmare.

I bought a pack of 3 vests and 3 matching sleepsuits in sainsbury's the other day they are beige, cream patterns and I got a "going home outfit" for bump in the next sale after Christmas so I think I'm done  I can't think of anything that I need for bump, in fact I didn't need the outfits but I wanted bubs to have its own stuff in hosp and coming home instead of plain white sleep suits that are 3rd hand :)

I'm not sure if this will help but here goes
My friend had an eptoptic that was only spotted on the 3rd scan that she had, they had originally said all was fine on the 1st but was too early for a heart beat, then a 2nd scan showed a heart beat and they said it was just random bleeding and then as her pain increased they did another and found it was eptopic. She didn't pass any clots or tissue tho, just heavy bleeding.
I hope whatever happens you're ok xx

What does a going home outfit consist of? Everything I've read mentions snowsuits.. won't be any need for one of those in mid-July, hopefully!

MIL, (who was also registered at same dentist) went for an annual check which had been booked the previous year and when she turned up for the appointment, she was told that her dentist had left (apparently he was asked to leave) and they hadn't replaced him. So she would need to re-register at another practice as the remaining dentists weren't taking on further NHS patients.

I thought it was really bad form, as they hadn't bothered to tell anyone what had happened, and would just tell patients as they turned up for appointments they would have to register elsewhere.

Mine is just some stripey pants and a top with winnie pooh on, I may need to get a sun hat too tho
as Chris was a winter baby he had a snow suit etc you could barely see him in it :rotfl:

I was wondering the same - I was thinking of a cotton sun hat too sami, rather than the usual knitted hat.

How rude! My dentists opens at 8:30 in the morning, I had an app booked for this afternoon but I got a call at 8:31 this morning to say he'd called in sick, we were there yesterday for Chris and I could hear them re-arranging apps in july as one dentist had booked his summer holiday
