    Received this email from eBay:-

Here's what you can do if you've already paid for the item:
If you won the item and you've already paid for it, you can choose to reverse the payment or ask the seller for a refund. If you've already received the item you've the option of accepting it or returning it to the seller for a refund.
    1) Contact the seller
    2) Contact your payment provider

    - Contact the seller
At this stage, we recommend that you contact the seller and discuss the situation. These situations can often be resolved with a friendly conversation.
Check your email account for any previous emails you received from the seller - these may contain their contact information. Unfortunately, we can't give you the seller's contact details.
    - Contact your payment provider
If you can't reach the seller, contact the service that you used to send payment. They may be able to reverse the payment.

Is there anyone here that would write this letter for me? I need an unbiased opinion of the boots. I would upload tons of images of the boots, or if your in the Liverpool area I could show them. I've phoned countless retailers and none will give me a letter.

Obviously I don't expect the person who does it to do it for free, I don't expecct anyone to use their own time for nothing.
  • my short grey classics came yesterday ;) i must admit they are lovely! what size are you we could share!!! ;)

ARGH, don't rub it in, LoL!! I need to save up big time and scrounge some discount codes etc nearer the time when I can afford them. I own a pair of short chestnut Uggs and just got the tall chocolate ones...but I will die sad without these on my feet.:rotfl: PS I am size 5 if anyone wants to gift me a pair.:p

These Ugg boot things are so horrid and when I see women wearing them I think to myself 'oh lord on the band wagon of sheep wearing stupid clothes' I wouldn't pay 62pence for them let alone £62
    :p

Just rang a couple dealers, Bank and Schuh and both won't give me a letter.

The email says 'In order to continue with the investigation of your complaint, we must
request documentation to support your claim that the item is not authentic.
Please obtain a document from an unbiased, third-party, such as a dealer,
appraiser, or another individual or organization that is qualified in the
area of the item in question (other than yourself), which clearly
identifies the item as not authentic. If possible, the document should
include a serial number and description of the item, and must be on
letterhead that includes the name, address, and phone number of the
individual, business, or organization so that PayPal may contact them if
    necessary.'

Doesn't this mean I can just get a kind person on here to take a look at them and give me a letter? Or should I keep trying to find a dealer that would give me one?

Mwesty, are you allowed a third party who is not part of an organisation or company? Their message is not really clear as they say other than yourself but then you could easily get a friend to write it if its just a case of written confirmation from a third party that they are fake.

Paypal doesnt make it easy  How was the payment funded? If it was credit card then I think maybe you should ring the card company and do a chargeback just to put a hold on the funds being paid to paypal.

Have you called Paypal and told them that the stores wont help you? They really should be more helpful seeing as ebay removed the listing.

I have to say that until I tried some on, I was in the same place as you. Now I am the proud owner of a pair of short black ones (courtesy of Shudoo and 12% off) and another pair of Long Chocolates are due for delivery today (again courtesy of Shudoo and 20% off) I am a convert through and through.

If you click the 'returns form' icon on home page lower left, this takes you to a page where the details of how to return goods. The 20% code is detailed there - you redeem this at the bottom of the first checkout page where you enter address details - at the bottom there is a box 'If you have a promotion or voucher code please enter here'.
