They are doing it a few people at a time so it could be next week or six weeks depending on your luck.0

Wahayyy! Thanks for posting.
Which letter does your surname begin with?0 -
Don't think it matters for the first email.0

mines a 'b' :j0

Also, for anyone wanting to prime their spam filters, it came from enquiries@fscs.org.uk
The main point of interest is the appendix at the end (not the bit that says the contents are confidential - I posted it before I even saw that!). It says that ISAs are transferred to the linked account with a posted certificate to arrive later.
P.S. The contents of the mail are published online.0 -
Thanks iamsam for the e-mail. I'm still not sure what do do with my fixed term deposits that mature in Feb. The way I read it, people with fixed term deposits are throwing away October's and possibly November's interest by making an electronic claim. By sending a postal claim it would appear that interest would accrue from October 10th. We need some further clarification!0

Mine is also a B and I got the email at 18:21.
It did also get sent straight to the Outlook 2007 Junk Email folder (using default filters)0 -
Just received my first email too. Looks like they are on track.

Yes, thanks for posting your FSCS email!
Hmmmmm? It's ambiguous (to me):
At that time, we will be notified that you wish to wait until the end of the fixed term and we will then send you an application form to complete and return to the FSCS. As described above, this process will be slower, although we aim to complete this process so far as possible within 6 weeks of receipt of a completed application form, with payment following the maturity date of the account.
Does this mean you get sent the application form when your bond finally matures, or immediately after you notify them you want to wait to maturity? The 6-week wait is significant if the clock starts ticking after maturity.
Has anyone sought clarification (yet)?0
