  • Dunno if I'm putting this in the right place or not but here goes.

I am looking for gift boxes for 2 presents does anyone know where I can get them please without buying big packs of them, none of the local card/gift shops can help and we don't have a craft shop local that does them.

    I need
    1, 8 x 8 1.5 inches - for a male adult
    1, 8 x 5 x5 inches - for a female adult

All ideas will be gratefully recieved
    I'm working on it.

Candygirl, it doesnt sound soft at all. Your parents make you into the people you are and are such HUGE parts of your life. And I bet he is so proud of the way you have turned out!! xx

  • afternoon all,

pinkladymel- thanks for the secret santa idea- never thought of doing that at all ( but thats what we do at work). Real good suggestion then at least we have something to open.

brideonabudget- i think your son is great saving his money. i have always tried to get mine to save for everything, my daughter does but my son...????? At christmas i usually make mince pies and sausage/cheese rolls and freeze loads. you can freeze them cooked or ready to bake. then if i get visitors or on xmas day i just pop them in the oven for a while and they smell and taste great warm.
can you tell me please what is a post office xmas saving card- never heard of that?

kalojac- sounds like you are in for a busy week off.

Just been in to town and oh the joys ...sad though i am ...i have just returned with the xmas gift brochures from various shops(boots etc). love to browse (dont buy many things) but makes xmas feel nearer when they are out.ohhhhhhhh.
