Was in Woolies at the weekend and saw they had a cupcake range of kitchen stuff - mug (only £1), tins, chopping board (I think), teatowels, apron etc. Stuff was very reasonably priced and quite pretty. Have had a look at the Woolworths site but can't find any of the bits on there. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0

there is a lovely large ceramic
cupcake biscuit container and
a matching smaller one each were
£15 and £20.So pretty I can see them
being popular at Christmas time.
I love this mug rosekitten... http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_10001_63344_181933_-1:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
if that one is the same as I was
looking at and I am certain it is,it
is set in a pretty matching hatbox
with a carry handle.
This is lovely and only £10 its
a good size too when I first saw
it I thought it was the biscuit
barrel.Its such a nice range
I am waiting for one of their
blue cross days

thanks rainmac for the link
I have just finished my towel cake I
still have to put the cellophane over it.
Its a wedding with a lilac theme
its the first time I have made one
so its been a bit trial and error
1 bath sheet -£3
1 bath towel - £2
3 hand towels - £2.50
2 face cloths - 50p
3 metres Ribbon - £1.20
pearl rope £3
the towels came from Primark
thier sort of posh range.
the dearest thing on it was the
little floral bows packet of 20 - £3.95
but when I get the cellophane on it
there will be enough ribbon to do
a nice bow on the top

I did not have a cake board so I managed
to get a packet of extra large paper plates
in Home Bargains 39p for 8 and stuck two
together for added strength.I had some silver
paper doilys already so cut the border off two
of them and stuck them round the edge as the
plate has a pink border that did not match in.
I think having done this one I realise now that there
are ways and means to bring the cost down to make
this a bit cheaper next time.
