  • Hi all, going into town in a few hours, going to be there b4 Boots opens to get me some time delay :D - Doubt they will have any!

Anyways was wondering if anyone could clear this problem up for me: If I printed off vouchers from the ACM, obviously brought the product in another stror but they didn't have an advantage card machine could I still use this vouchers?

I am asking because I remember reading something about this and it would be a great help if someone could locate the article for me? - Missed out on 800 points bcoz of this!

Oooo Thanks for this :T .

Got a few of these coupons to use and was wondering if they'd work on toothpaste (that must be the only toiletry I'm not stocked up on at the moment).OOPS, just re-read that post and realised you were talking about the Colgate coupon and I got confused with the £1 off WYS £4 on healthcare. Think it's time to go to bed my brain has stopped working!

Hmmm, more Bootsing tomorrow as I've still got 3 till spits to use! Hope Bromborough has re-stocked if not may have to venture over to Cheshire Oaks.

A's Mum or NettieNoo: Any idea if the tiny Brom Boots stocks the TD wipes or hand cream? Thanks :)
Hi Sam , Glad to see you back..just a quick reply as I am in work ( woohoo) anyway I looked the other day and could not see any of the cheaper TD products in the little Boots. If you go to Cheshire oaks text me if they have any wipes and I will try and go after work.

Glad you got the corners ( thanks to passion8 for his one) and the super 600pts, I tried to see if I had any more vouchers yesterday but ACM wasn't very kind to me.

The olay handcream wouldn't work for me, at all :(

Also - ladies - what foundation would you reccomend for something thats lightweight, but good for (I assume its) dry skin? Everytime I seem to put anything on my skin nowadays it all peels and flakes, dispite exfoliating and moisturising, pondered if it was the factor 50 suncream I wear over most days, but its not :/ Might go oxford street after work tonight and mooch.

    Morning geordie_lass, morning all :)

Just wanted to stress the relevant part of that link (well, it was relevant for me anyway lol and might be relevant to YMF)

"The Advantage Card Extra Offers Kiosks give Advantage Card holder's exclusive offers that cannot be found anywhere else in store. They can be found in our larger Boots stores but the coupons printed can be used in any Boots stores provided they have not expired and the product is stocked."

I printed it out (after you'd posted it previously I think?) and still got oh to check with CS (they confirmed it btw ;)), so hth x

    .

The Olay handcream wouldn't work for me as well - so I went with the Olay Total Effects Radiance Enhancing Cream Wash instead for £5.99 and I was able to use my 500 point PC voucher and £5 voucher (3 times!!!)

Katiaracat, presume doc has prescriped a narcotic (Codeine / morphine)? Plus checked for Lumbar Bulging or Herniated Disc?

My doc offered me paracetamol/codeine and that had no effect and then i moved on to morphine which helped. He was slightly miffed as it should control the discomfort greatly. Booked me for an MRI as I was in agony(and got stuck in the bed for 5 hrs one day which is not helpful as a single mum!), sleeping upright etc and thought there was a chance it may be connected to my crohns disease(seems alot of things are lol). Turns out it is Ankylosing Spondylitis which is 'related' to it, rather like asthma/excema tend to be 'related'. About 20% of people with inflammatory bowel disease and about 20% of people with psoriasis develop a form of ankylosing spondylitis (chronic inflammation of the spine that may gradually result in a fusion of vertebrae) and it can really feel like sciatica at first. Totally different meds are used for it.

Sorry to bang on, but it may be worth looking into further if her pain is not 'moderate' but 'chronic' as sciatia should be kept under control and bearable with paracetamol/codeine for any pain and ibuprofen for any inflammation.

I'll shush up now lol, but thought i'd say about it as I was in hell till I got my MRI and the correct medication etc after they detected that my spine has started to fuse.

very helpful thanks. you may have something there. She is on diclofenac & co codamol which has been doubled up as their not touching the pain, she also has Physiotherapy 2x a week and they say it isn't a slipped disc but is very surprised that the tabs haven't took the inflammation away. She is going back to docs for more pain relief.
thanks polldolls for the link i will pm the op.

TIA for any help with this:D
    Lynne xx

Yeah these are the moisturiser and TE ones.

I have done this a few times recently ;) I usually hand over points first. Only a very few people have managed to get the Til Splits to work on the Hand cream so you should be prepared for it not being accepted. If they reject it don't panic you can still spend £4.97 to get the hand cream with 1100pts back plus free wipes.

Only problem is if your 500pts voucher ends in 76 it has to be added on manually and they may not do it as you are already getting 600pts plus the wipes. Try to pick a nice sa.
