Hello everyone
I have had a long break from comping and thought that I would give the advents a go this year. Last time I tried the advents I found them overwhelming! Would you be able to share any advent comping tips and advice?
Thank you

Don't stress over it... Choose a few brands/sites you like, and enter those as often as you can and just do whatever else you have time / can be bothered doing randomly, that's kinda what I do.
No tested or trusted technique or method to my madness
and keep an eye on this thread : https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=5921671
In there, they'll list advents daily that have a prize worth over £100.
and the main advents thread is here : https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=59216740 -
Thank you :j0

I always thank the posts in thread as they are added to the back of the thread before being indexed, so you can easily see the unthanked posts are the ones you haven't added to your own folders.
Hope that makes sense, but as Sleepy says above just keep it fun and don't stress over it.

Good luck to all who enter the Advents!
Many of the Advents, especially Social Media ones, ask the same old questions so it is good to have your answers ready to cut and paste....
1) What you want for Christmas
2) Your favourite Christmas tradition
3) Your favourite part of your Christmas dinner
4) What you get up to on Christmas Eve
5) Your favourite Christmas song
6) Your favourite Christmas carol
7) Your favourite Christmas movie
8) Your worst ever Christmas present
9) Your best ever Christmas present
10) Your favourite Christmas cracker joke
11) Have a photo of your Christmas tree ready
12) Have a photo of your pet dressed in their Christmas outfit!
13) Have a selfie of yourself wearing your Christmas jumper!
Please feel free to add to the list....:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
Thanks
I seem to remember answering "Do you have a real tree or an artificial tree?" a few times last year!0 -
Donner, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Dasher, Blitzen and Cupid?
(actually trying to do this from memory! ... Cupid doesn't sound right though)
Watching that Dudley Moore Christmas film as a kid clearly paid off!0 -
We often get asked 'what are your plans for Christmas Eve? What do you leave out for Father Christmas?:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0
