Just wondering out of idle curiosity.

How do you manage to fit advent competitions in?

If you work, do you take leave during December?

Do you stop going to the gym or give up another hobby?

Do you stop entering mag daily competitions or click to wins?

Do you get up earlier each day or stay up later?

I'm taking a few days leave to enter some advents and go Christmas shopping at the beginning of December and although I normally try and stay up to date with the main board, I will simply bookmark any that end after Christmas. I won't be able to enter that many advents, but I won't stress over it.

    Good luck everyone.

I get up to date with the main board.

Stay up later and get up earlier to enter time-sensitive competitions.

    But that's it.

I'll prioritise the prizes i really want and enter those, if i have time i'll go back and enter any others. :)

I get up an hour earlier each morning to have a quiet time by myself to get a head start each day, thenI just fit in the rest throughout the day like usual. Some years it's worth it, others not so much.

Fingers crossed this will be a good year for all of us.

I get up an hour earlier during the advents, it's the only way I can fit most of them in! I often think how ironic it is that the busiest comping time is also the busiest real life time. It would be much more bearable if they happened in January ;)
  • What do I give up? My sanity...

...just kidding, I enjoy the advents!

I don't give up much, my swearing increases by the bucketload though :rotfl:

BTW, Is it me, or does the advents list seem a bit thin on the ground this year.
I'm assuming there are more to come, but it seems a bit meh!! this year. Still looking forward to them, but not as excited for them as I usually am. (And Mr Dontone keeps asking me if the Haggis Hunt is going to be active this year too)..... I dunno!!!

The small amount of sanity I still have
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

I give up home cooking and live off microwavable meals and tins of soup!
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea
  • I try and stay mega organised normally means giving up my sanity!
I bookmark all the daily web advents in order, instant wins first so I know to enter them at funny times, then time sensitive with the tkmes in the bookmark title, then others.
Social fb and tweet ones I use an old fashioned pen and paper list just to scroll daily!
I find advents are a nice distraction since my workplace goes insane this time of year!

And yes the list is pretty small so far this year!
