This thread is for posting deals and discussion of the Tesco Price check Just the Difference policy. On entering your receipt details into the Tesco price checker if they are found to be more expensive than Asda they will give you a voucher for the difference.

It is known as Just the Difference (JTD) to distinguish it from the instore policy of Double the Difference (DTD) where you will get back double the amount you have been overcharged.

    Just to let people know, that the Fiano wine is definitely giving JTD of £3.24.

    Hi 6 meal deals inc the Fiano wine. The dauphinoise actually took it over, by about £1.50
    The 6 wines gave me a further £2.10 off. I got it on click and collect, our store had a promo for £10 off £50 spend. They did not have three of the puds in when I collected so had full amount taken off. Works out about £18 for the 6.
    I took yesterdays £20 to buy 3 deals. However I only got the dauphinoise, 6 in total. I also got 3 mini bottles for £5.
    I had to get 2 large milks and some harvest bars anyway. Which took me to £40 so I could use my £ 5 off £40. Then the jtd £20. This left £15 to pay.
    I submitted the details last night and should get £15ish back.

    Good luck. I hate this thread on the gone section hidden away!!!!!!!!

    Its worth noting as I didnt know a few days ago that you are only allowed to submit 10 reciepts a month. I was over my limit yesterday so the 6 I submitted I only received back 2. Just use a different email address when you reach 10.

    Oh and dont bother with express receipts they dont work in the price check. Silly me thought they might.

    I put a price check in yesterday morning but I haven't had anything back yet. Didn't think it usually took this long so is it just me or is everybody else waiting?

    Yep, did for me, I bought the meal deal on Sunday (19th)
    and used my JTD voucher this morning. Bought the Dolphonoise Potatoes too
