Not long back from my little break thanks. I was at Chorley walking some of the Leeds Liverpool canal and then at Salford Quays where we went to see Lowry pics. DH and I are both fans of his works so really enjoyed it. We also went into Manchester as I have never been in the centre before as DH is from near Liverpool he has never beeen that keen to visit again. We saw the new Emmeline Pankhurst statue while there.
Had a lovely time.
Well done on the wins FF and leanfun. Would have loved your one leanfun! Have you managed to book it yet.
Hope everyone is well and those ill ,feeling better.
Must get on as DD is coming for dinner as she is on a placement and been on her own all week apart from her cat. Dog has had to be boarded out to her bf's dad until tomorrow.

Afternoon peeps I have got some more shampoo and conditioner to test. Think the long hair does it for these companies. Mine is half way down my back. Love my long hair ( have had it short in the past) but I can put it up have it down curl it etc. Also have been asked to test some vitamin tablets to see if it improves but have declined. At my age I have taken care of my hair so do not want anything to happen to it lol.0

:hello: Good morning everyone
You were one step ahead of me re gardening yesterday
fire**fly! We had a beautiful weather day here, went out
forest walking first thing & then ended up faffing around the
house for the remainder of the day, catching up with this and
that & before I knew it the time had just whizzed by!
Just back from my walk this morning & have my gardening
gloves at the ready! Will definitely be out there later on
today!
Sounds as if you both had a lovely time away sheils - I also
love Lowry artwork.
Was thinking of you all yesterday indie. ((Hugs)) xx
Don't blame you rose declining the offer of testing the
vitamins tablets, wise decision on your part sticking with
testing the hair shampoo/conditioner. Sounds as if you're
doing well re hair products with brilliant results! :T
Hope you're feeling a little better today leanfun. So sorry
to hear that DS was feeling really poorly yesterday too -
sending ((hugs)). xx
Have a lovely & lucky day all and please take care, whatever
your plans.

Thanks everyone for the lovely pictures. Sunnny here today.
Sheils pleased you you had a good trip. We too have been to the Lowry exhibition once. I’ve not been in the centre of Manchester yet.
We haven’t booked the night away yet. Thinking about somewhere near Brighton or Windsor.
Rose hope the shampoo & conditioner are good for your hair. Great when you find something that suits you.
Firefly great you have made it to the garden.
DH has had pain at the top of his leg and back for ages but it’s worse now. Weeks ago Doctor gave him a letter for physio but that’s not till later March. We have managed to book an appointment tomorrow with a chiropractor who helped him years ago. He managed to hobble to the bus and hospital today to collect his hearing aids. Now he wants the TV turned down and has complained that DS and I are making too much noise coughing. Ho ho. They told him to get used to them at home first.
Well today has flown by with me doing very little.
Forgot to say post brought me some tickets for the Knitting &Stitching Show. To be honest I don’t remember entering but thinking I might like to go. I used to knit a lot. The show is end of the month so I don’t think I’ll have the energy. Will find someone who would like to go.0 -
:hello: Good morning all
I had the windows open too yesterday fire**fly, making the
most of the beautiful weather. :T Must admit though, haven't
really thought about spring cleaning yet.
Also managed to have a fairly decent gardening session,
can't believe how quickly the weeds are growing! Will be out
there again today tackling the little blighters! Maybe I should
stick this outside in the front garden .....
Although admittedly, I find a good weeding session can be
quite therapeutic! Put brain in neutral & away I go! :rotfl:
Very foggy start to the day here although still managed an
early morning trot round the forest. Only just back from
getting a few food provisions in, so that's me sorted for the
weekend.

Sorry to hear that DH is in so much pain leanfun - good idea
though booking an appointment for him with Chiropractor
today. Hope it'll ease the pain a bit.
Lol at DH wearing his new super duper hearing aids & now
finding everything too noisy - made me laugh out loud! :rotfl::rotfl:
Have a lovely and lucky Friday all & please take care, whatever
your plans.

Was quite a nice day here so got batch of towels dry. Not sure where all our towels appear from! Haven't done any gardening yet though Alfie.
Haven't done any spring cleaning yet FF, great you are on top of things.
Also had to laugh at your DH and his hearing aids leanfun. Hope he is pain free soon.
Have been having probems with everything I touch at the moment. Even our last hotel debited our credit card by mistake and BT messed up the annual line rental renewal. Goodness knows what will happen when we change gas and electricity supplier. Takes so long phoning to sort anything out.
Not had any wins to cheer me up either.

:hello: Good morning
Hope you're all ok. Sending get well (((hugs))) to anyone
still feeling poorly today. xxx
Ended up with a quite a misty weather day yesterday, thick
fog first thing & then again early evening. Very dreary
inbetween! It's a foggy start again this morning but once
it clears away we'll be seeing sunshine (so they say ) for
most of the day.
I've had times like that sheils, when everything seems to
go wrong - very frustrating & time consuming! Grrrr! Plus I'm
pretty sure the comping fairy has forgotten all about me, due
to my lack of wins! Double grrrr!
Have an enjoyable weekend all & please take care, whatever
your plans.
