    :hello: Good morning all

You were right sheils, I was most definitely out gardening
yesterday, making the most of the beautiful sunshine. soleil07j.gif
Also managed to get two loads of washing dried too - the
only downside now is a large pile of ironing to do. Ho
    hum! repass.gif

I'll be out gardening again today, jardinage0.gif the ironing
    can wait! :p

Morning, beautiful morning here already have 1 lot of washing out and another in machine. I have been working the last 2 days so washing has mounted up again.Should get it all dried as they forecast 17 degrees today loving this weather when you can get washing dry but like you Alfie it shows up all the dusty bits indoors. There is always tomorrow to dust, that won't go away unlike our nice weather. That's my excuse anyway, lol. Hope you all have a good weekend.

Well said indie! :T My thoughts exactly! :T :D

Hope all your coughs have eased a bit today leanfun. xx

Good luck changing your gas and electricity providers sheils.
Hope it all goes through smoothly.

Have a lovely & lucky day all and please take care, whatever
    your plans.

    Good Morning,

Really misty here this morning - quite a shock. Poor Dd's bf had to drive all the way to Hamilton in it and DD has to drive to Dumfries now.
Did more gardening yesterday! (bet you are surprised Alfie)
We are trying to get front garden spruced up a bit before our next break on the 8th.

That is deadful news rose, so sorry. I saw it on the news but obviously didn't know she was a relative of yours. So many sad things on the news just now.

Good luck to everyone for a last minute February win.

Morning folks. Sun is shining here this morning and making my windows look filthy. Window cleaner is due this week so will put up with it lol. have a bit of a sniffle and cough this morning so looks like a cold is on the way. Do not mind having a cold (they can make you feel miserable at times) as long as cough does not head in to my chest. Hate a tickly cough as well it is so anoying. Moaning already lol. Hope I find everyone in good spirits. Shiels no mist here so hopefully as he got nearer Hamilton he had a clear run.

    On a different note .....

Admittedly, I've never thought about where the expression
"Women and children first!"originated from until I read the
    following this morning ....

Today in 1852...a great naval tradition is born, as the troopship
H.M.S. Birkenhead sinks off the coast of South Africa with the loss
of 441 men. To avoid the few lifeboats being swamped, the troop's
commanding officer orders, "Women and children first!". The
soldiers stand fast as seven women and thirteen children are
rowed away from the wreck to safety. In total, 193 people survive.

Rose I’m here with tears. The whole thing is so tragic. Your DGS was there for her. It’s going to affect him badly. Hugs to you all.

Alfie this warm weather is indeed very worrying. A number of years ago I can remember a very warm half term but not as warm as this.
Have to enjoy the sun while we have it.

Hope to go into back garden today too Indie. Great your son is going to help.

    Thanks everyone. Enjoy the sun.
