Hope you're all well. Oops, sorry sheils - had forgotten you
were off to Glasgow for a couple of days! Have a lovely time

I expect you're finding your house very quiet leanfun now
the GKs have all gone back to school - sounds as if the
half-term week was such a fun time for them all.


Had to laugh the other day .... my daughter had messaged
me about my little 4 year old GD. Apparently she was trying to
pronounce the names of all the planets (for little school Space
project) - and it had been going so well until they got to Venus
& Uranus! :eek: I'll leave her innocent pronunciation of those
particular planets to your imagination! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:


Kiddies come out with the funniest of things sometimes! :grinheart

(Forgot to mention it earlier only remembered when I

its raining here again. its quieter here but we have six year old GS his school is closed today. We are just going to take him to buy a new helmet at Halfords ready for some scooter training at school tomorrow. hIs old one is a bit small now.

Thanks Alfie and Firefly. I keep forgetting we are going out tomorrow. its catching Alfie.

Just feeling good after some retail therapy. Ive ordered a blouse from a site called Just Last Season. It has Eastex, Petite Precis and Jaques Vert. On Mondays they have been doing extra discount so instead of £49 it was £16.80 and today no postage. I bought a very nice dress for my holidays from them last year for £30 including postage and original price was over £100.

Thanks Firefly. We took GS to a big Sainsburys and he had lunch and we had coffee and a snack.
I met a former colleague in Sainsburys and couldn't;t remember his name until DH came along with GS and immediately remembered his name was the same as my DH

In Halfords a very helpful assistant fitted GS with a helmet. The red one he chose apparently wasnt suitable for scooters. So pleased we asked for advice. Hes all set for tomorrow now.

Alfie I forgot to say lo to your Gds pronunciation of planets. They either seem to be hoocked on dinosaurs or planets.

Morning peeps. Bright and sunny here although a tad cold.Thats a fab site leanfun going to go through it later. Hope everyone is fit and healthy. Good luck with comps.

We are back home now. Had a lovely little break - was spending vouchers everywhere! Enjoyed some lovely meals,coffeees, snacks and cinema. It was a beautiful day today. We are home until Sunday and then we are off to Lancaster and The Lakes.
