Morning everyone. Sun is shining again here this morning. Home town team are playing Celtic in the Scottish Cup final so Good Luck to them. There has been good luck banners on the lamp post down the main street all week and neighbours hubby said their is bunting in the club colours all over the place. Supporters will be marching through the town later on the way to their buses. So between that and the Royal Wedding the place is going to be quiet in the afternoon. DIL is working today so have GK's in a couple of hours and they are going to hoover and dust for me Bless them. They have also made up a chicken salad for our lunch and they want a baked potato with it. Hope everyone is well. Have a wonderfull day peeps.

Very sunny here today. It often is for FA cup.

Rose hope you have a good day with GKs. There’s the wedding for them to watch too. Chicken salad sounds good.

Sylvia pleased I could help and do hope it works for you. When I went to visit my friend, who was the in her seventies then and single, she had been given a trolly to push her food from small kitchen to her table. She was unable to put her online shopping away and looked dreadful with the pain. She was considering looking for a home. Months not years down the line she was out in the buses again and as I said is carefully monitored.
Sorry to hear about your DH. My DH has had heart problems. From our experience heart attacks don’t always show up on ECGs but usually do on blood tests. Hoping his results are good when they come through.
Pleased you both have family nearby.

I was going to cut our front small hedge yesteday or day before but saw neighbors and the little toddler didn’t look good. They had been to the hospital with him in the night as he had breathing problems. They said he had a virus. So I didn’t want to make a lot of noise might have a go this afternoon when sun has gone down.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

    PS no Rolling Stones win.

Anyone have funny stories from their wedding day? I remember all morning my dad was very quiet and marching up and down the house. He was sooooooo nervous that he was nearly sick at one point. He at one point poured himself a whisky and my mum caught him it was promptly put down the sink and he was warned not to touch it as she said she didn't want him breathing alcohol fumes over the guest as we were greeting them at the reception. Anyway once my two sisters and her left in the car for the church I poured him a large one and told him to get it down his neck. At the reception my mum had a few words with him and he said that I had poured it for him and she said oh yes blame her. She didn't believe him so had to tell her it was me. all I did was giggle and the look she gave me would have sunk a battle ship lol. Another thing that happened was after the meal I was bursting for the loo so got hold of my sisters to help me as dress had a long train and I didn't know how I was going to manage. It took us about ten minutes to sort out dress as we could not help laughing because three of us were trying to squeeze into this small toilet. My mother came in to see what we were up to and we got the look that said for goodness sake behave lol. In the end the whole skirt and train of the dress was lifted over my head. Very ladylike lol.
