    I found Martin's guide very useful I had some old gold to sell that was just sat in my jewellery box gathering dust. I searched a few companies online, I ended up selling it to a company called Buymyjewellery.com I was a bit sceptical at first about selling online, but I have to say that I was really pleased with the outcome. They gave me a very good price they sent me out a pack and they paid me more than the gold for pieces with diamonds in. I would recommend them and I would use them again.

    I need some advice please. I am an executor of a will and have some Indian gold jewellery, please advise how I would go about having this valued for Probate and Inheritance tax?

    Best to find a jeweller who specialises in Indian Gold, Google should produce some suitable jewellers, one who may be near to you
    If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

    I have some gold (mainly jewellery) that I'd like to sell, and wondered if anybody had some tips on places to visit and how to get the best deal.

    I havent used them yet but have got a pack from Vintage Cash Cow. they seem to be popular and I have been impressed by the service so far. The people I have spoken to have been v professional. I have 2 gold rings to send off, I have had a cash price from a local jewellery shop. They have said if you dont like the price they offer, they send it back. they provide you with a tracked pre paid label. get the pack or look on the website to see what you think. i will post back once I have actually got the parcel off etc
