Well done for hitting the half way mark. It's all downhill from here.

Thanks INOD - very pleased with my progress, just need to keep at it :D. Next month I will be under 5k which will be great.

Nothing much to report from the last few days. I've been on double shifts both days over the weekend and another one today. I'm shattered but have had 2 NSDs (and today should be a 3rd) and I'll get over £200 from 2nd job on Friday.
    Debt Dec 2022 - £2972.68. Current debt - £0 (100% paid). Flat deposit - £10789.83/£15000 (71.9% saved). Emergency fund - £1525.51/£2000 (76.3% saved).

Still here monz - just haven't been posting much as I've been on 14 hour shifts the last few days. Will do a proper update tomorrow x

    So proper update time :)

Had a bit of a blip on Monday and nipped to the shop during my break, £9.80 later :o and I didn't even buy anything decent it was just chocolate and crisps and snacky stuff. Will put the blip down to extreme tiredness and will mind to take more snacks with me next time.

So the food budget is blown :( I think I'm going to up it next month as eating gluten free is a bit more expensive. Am going to up it by £10 to £130 and see how I get on with that.

Yesterday was a NSD and I went to the kettlebells class again. Not sure if I'll make it to the gym today as I'm a bit sore but will see how I feel after work. Today won't be a NSD as I've got the rescheduled meal out with friends later.

I'll get my payslip from 2nd job later so looking forward to seeing how much I can budget towards final debt repayments of the month :D

Payday today so have made all my payments/moved money to the various pots. Almost at £150 with cc2 and will get there once I get paid tomorrow :)

    Budget for tomorrow - £207.65
    - £30 food
    - £30 electricity bill
    - £20 clothes
    - £50 holiday
    - £30 meal out
    - £5 bus fare
    - £10 emergency fund
    - £15 BT cc
    - £17.65 cc2

I desperately need new trainers for work but instead of buying cheap ones as usual I've decided to save up and buy a decent pair.

The £50 holiday is for when I'm away back to see my parents, this will pay for the rest of the travel beyond Glasgow plus any other expenses as I'll be catching up with a few friends as well.

We've got a meal out with some of my family on Saturday, having googled the place we're going and menu prices £30 should be enough.

Off to bed just now, am absolutely shattered and still have another week before I get a day off. So sick and tired of working all the time :(

    Review of July targets
    - emergency fund £350 currently £277.98
    - cc2 under £150 now £146.81
    - electricity bill £120 have £150 saved

Generally really pleased, the emergency fund target was very ambitious so not surprised I didn't make it, however, got to aim high :)

    August targets
    - emergency fund £350
    - cc2 paid off

My main focus will be cc2, I have £146.81 to pay off so that should be doable by the end of August. I will get under the 5k mark this month :). Target is to be under £4750 by the end of August. I'd really like to be under £3000 by the end of the year.

So payday again and I've moved all money to its allocated pot. Am now away to update my signature with August targets.

    Sunday
    A NSD :)

    Today
A super spendy day today - rent and Christmas savings direct debits have gone out, I have paid the council tax and the electricity bill and also spent £12.50 on lunch out with a friend.

I spent £9.76 getting a few bits in the supermarket including 3 loafs of gf bread for £1.15 each :)

    Budget for Friday - £103.75
    - £50 holiday
    - £30 food
    - £10 to direct debits fund
    - £5 emergency fund
    - £8.75 cc2

I have budgeted quite a lot for being away but any left over will be put towards a night out when my friend is back over from Australia in the middle of the month. I've only worked one shift for 2nd job this week so will only get around £20 next Friday so that's why I'm putting the £10 by. I've got two shifts for 2nd job next week but hoping to pick up another.
