Nearly the end of the week and I am off tomorrow. We have friends staying this weekend so lots to do and lovely things planned.

Will have the company of the children for all the jobs/errands tomorrow so I'm hoping they are full of energy and motivation!

Wash 2 lots of bedding and re-make beds ready for guests
    Clean fridge
    Clean all surfaces
    Hoover and mop
    Clean bathrooms
    Clean kitchen
Collect order from @rgos (towels and lightbulbs)
    Do food shop
Got to HB for protein and fibre bars

Done 10-15k steps each week and also managed to do two weights workouts. Took some progress pictures today and I've seen great results in just one month so am really pleased.

Financial news? Accounts checked and there is 'some' money in there! N@twest account switching money should be paid next week.DH due some financial news next week, my PPI claim should be resolved in a week, raised a claim on tcb as some cashback not tracked correctly. Saved £10 as dd can't attend a party as I muddled up the days! However I do need to stay off 3bay as been getting myself a few bargains lately!

I'm on a new fitness plan Cath too. glad to hear weights are successful for you. In my previous exercise life (aged 20's to 30's) i was more or a cardio queen with very little time spent on weights. My new trainer has had me working free weights which 36 hours later i'm feeling my upper body wince quite a bit. Thankfully she forgot to take pictures :D

Sounds like great progress, CathT! Do you do the weight workouts at home or a gym?

Weights are definitely the way forward for me. Trying to build up to doing the workout consistently 3 times a week instead of struggling with twice.

Not posted this week, had a lot going on and no financial news as we don!!!8217;t have lots of spare cash to do anything exciting with. N@twest reward money has been credited so that!!!8217;s £250 for free which will be paid off cc. Patio guy not been back in touch so still have the £350 for that sitting in savings. Do have a pending y0ugov survey so best fire up the laptop later, I sometimes worry it won!!!8217;t go through at the end on my phone.

PPI money due any day if bank accept my claim. It is being worked on and they keep asking for more information. Have no idea how much to expect so anything will be a pleasant surprise.

I hope the PPI refund is a good 'un, fingers crossed for you.

We have had our oven professionally cleaned before, totally worth it IMHO! Mindst you, we also pay a gardener to mow our lawn so I am a big believer in outsourcing those jobs you hate :p

Well done on the fitness work. Are you off wine again? x

Yes I!!!8217;m off wine, apart from last weekend where I drank copious amounts along with gin! I!!!8217;m having to dig deep not to have any tonight but I really want to hit my goal so staying strong. I don!!!8217;t even finish a bottle anyway so it!!!8217;s hardly worth bothering!

Survived a whole week in work without a bank holiday, it wasn't too bad but am planning a productive weekend.

No alcohol for me last night and am planning to stay off it for a month but we are socialising in 3 weeks so gin may be involved!

Sun is trying to break through here so 2 loads of washing done and on the line, it felt really warm in the sun (although I am wearing a vest top, jumper and a hoodie!)

£28.86 paid off mortgage which was the last of the funds in the account so that will be penniless until Tuesday when hopefully I can either make another OP or pay something off t3sco card. Ideally I would love these small ad hoc overpayments to knock a month off the mortgage term! :D

Garden looks a mess so if time and energy allows I want to mow the lawn and do some weeding and re-instate one of the borders that has merged back into the lawn!

£1 on y0ugov today, 400 points to go.

Well Saturday was productive as the sun was shining. Mowed the lawns, did most of the weeding and bought new garden furniture. It is the rattan type and we now have a lovely corner sofa type with cushions. Used vouchers for a cover from @rgos so just an extra £5 spent there. Rain forecast tomorrow but we are expecting good weather after that so hopefully get good used out of it.

The current accounts survived the month! Can hits tomorrow and payday next week. Not set budgets yet but there should be some overpayment month floating around.

10k steps done and also a weights workout today but am shattered now so am hopIng to be fast asleep in the next 10 minutes!

The sun threatens to pop out and we all go crazy in the garden!

It finally made an appearance this afternoon so I sat in the garden after work. DH has set up the new garden furniture and it looks fab so going to use it whilst we can! Have hit my 10k steps each day but have hurt my foot so it's not been easy. It's a bit swollen today so hoping I haven't actually injured myself. On training tomorrow so I'm going to walk there and back int he sunshine.

PPI claim decision almost ready, I hope they agree to payout and it is soon in my account. 150 points on y0ugov tonight so only 250 points to go. Be nice if every survey was worth 150 points.

Plan is to keep spends low as still 5 days until payday and apart from dh going out in the day on Saturday we don't have any other planned expenses - fingers crossed there are no unexpected ones!
