Few days back there were lots of posters here who said O2 should not offer compensation as they didn't even notice and not having network for a day not end of life etc. etc.

I hope those people will not accept any compensation from O2 now.

That's not compensation - it's just a refund for a service that wasn't available!

I think they're hoping people think that and throw them in the bin. Either that or put it towards a bigger purchase... either way O2 wins.

Listen to it, the big bad company is offering pitence for lost service for a day, boohoo. Some people need to get out more, compo culture is alive and well and can be found on the MSE boards.
