    Thank you fairylights and themaccas, much appreciated.

    I feel guilty for feeling down when I've only just got my head around moneysaving when I know others have been doing it for much longer and they are entitled to feeling that 'groundhog' feeling (couldn't put it better myself!).

    Fairylights you're spot on, it took quite a while to get in this mess and it won't take me half as much to get out of it so I must try and focus on that and all the wonderful things I'll be able to do afterwards.

    I take your point about having a life while paying everything back themaccas, very important.

    You're also right about my OH, he's one in a million and I just hope he can cope with putting the house buying plans on hold for a while longer.

    Hi Moozie. So sorry to hear you are feeling down.:grouphug:

    You know I'm here anytime you need to rant or anything ok?

    It will take you a little while to get back fully into the swing of things again...these things are such a nuisance when they interrupt your flow i.e. monitors blowing up, burglaries etc ;)

    But head up high young lady, you've seen the light, you are certainly doing something about it BIG STYLE and you have us all along the way again now to help out!

    Big hugs to your other half too! I've missed you so it's great to have you back online! YAY! :j

    We'll get there though!! look how well you've done so far!!!:T

    My OH has no debt at all and it does get me down that I can't do the things that I know he'd like us to do, but he too has been so lovely. He treated me to a gig ticket last night, bless :o

    All sorted! OH got me new to me monitor yesterday and he paid for it too ;) I feel like a kid in a sweetshop! Jumping from here to internet banking to spreadsheets :j :j :j

    I've missed you too but refraining from mailing til my dark mood is lifted! No point bringing friends down, especially those that give me nice recipes and have bigger things to worry about such as blooming burglaries :(

    Watch out for the novel though ;)

    Thank you very much for your kind words and much appreciated hugs! Your OH sounds thoughtful and sweet, just how he should be. I am hoping you and I both feel better by the morning - as wellas anyone else in the dark mood!

    We've both come a long way since we joined, thanks goodness. Now let's try to remember that ;)

    There was no need! Anytime....good mood or bad.....

    However I look forward to the novel :D

    I'll put the kettle on when it arrives....maybe a packet of Hob Nobs too....
