Sorry for those finding things tough at the moment. I have been non stop all week (hence lack of posting). Just got back from another weekend away with my eldest DD and been staying with her with a day trip to London for a Family History Show at the Alexandra Palace. Never been there before but it was not how I imagined it. Not at all Palace like but it is very old.

I did not even manage to record calories as we ate out a lot but tried to keep just to meals with only one piece of fruit as snacks between two of the meals and a small amount of nuts or dark chocolate as the third small snack. Low fat, low sugar and high protein.

That plus lots of walking must have worked so Cranky can you record a - 2lb loss please? I am now at 12 stone 2 lb so within touching stone of 12 stone. Just another 2 stone to go but have lost 6lb so far on this challenge.

I have the DGDs today and have to take the youngest for her one year jabs (with my DD) so not looking forward to that. Have a great day today.

    Morning

    -1/2lb for me please Cranky.

Cant seem to get myself in the right mindset, Will have to give myself a good talking too :rotfl: and go grocery shopping as the cupboards are bare.

    Today’s meals are/will be

Toast and marg and coffee with milk
Chipolata and egg on a slice of toasted sandwich thin thingy
Freezer surprise which will be either dal, chicken coconut lentil curry or korma sauce with a bit of chicken in it, will know when it’s defrosted.

Whatever it turns out to be it’s leftovers from a recipe from the diet book I was following when I managed to loose a stone earlier this year. Must really get back to that way of eating as it seems to suit me better even though I don’t really enjoy it.

    Good morning everyone :hello:
Just popping on to record a 6lb loss, I'm pretty amazed and thankful for such a great loss. I can't say I have done anything particularly different either, it just must be a woosh.

    My meals today are:
b - boiled eggs and soldiers
    l - chicken noodles
d - southern fried chicken and salad
    s - pineapple

Hope you all have a great day, take care xx

    Good morning all,

Welcome zafiro, I've added you to the list. Don't be too hard on yourself, you've had a tough year.

That should be the lists up to date so far. Sorry that I didn't manage to do week 4 yesterday. I had a busy day. I went to Chester with my friend then I was online gaming with my bestie until way too late.

I'm headed for a STS tomorrow when I get weighed I reckon. This past week has been a bit of a learning curve regarding work and eating habits. Some shifts have been mid morning until mid afternoon which meant eating at odd times. I reckon I have the hang of it now though so it's all systems go for this week.

Take care all of you :)

Well done to all those who lost, even if it wasn't as much as you'd hoped it's still going in the right direction. Unfortunately I'm going completely the other way and after putting on +4.5lb this week am even heavier than when we started this challenge.

The "fat, useless, waste of space" gremlins seem to have well and truly got their claws into me at the moment and despite knowing that it's doing me no good I don't seem to be able to get my eating back on track. I'm trying to console myself with the fact that I'm nowhere near my worst level of bingeing (+4.5lb is actually pretty harsh for what I've eaten this week) and I'm still just over a stone lighter than I was 3 months ago so it could be a lot worse.

My husband made me giggle last night by pointing out that it's only set me back by a couple of weeks and then saying "Oh love, you're going to be dieting for the next 30 years. What does another couple of weeks matter?" :D

Best of luck to everyone for the week ahead.

well another STS for me, however the stress of writing my final essays for uni has seen me basically eating a lot of rubbish constantly so i am surprised that it hasn't been a gain

Well done everyone, that's a lot of smiley faces in Cranky's list.

I managed a brisk walk out a lunchtime on Friday despite the black clouds looming. Had a lovely 4 mile run Saturday morning and we timed it well with the rain so didn't get too wet.

Have had a very busy weekend painting. Treated ourselves to a thai box meal on Saturday and have had a few biscuits and pudding yesterday so don't think they'll be a great loss tomorrow. Am hoping for a couple of lbs.
