Over thinking every little 'symptom' is driving me mad but it's so hard not to get your hopes up.

Hi all, I hope everyone has had a nice weekend and has been able to enjoy the nice weather. I've had a go at doing the lists today, please shout if I have got any dates wrong and I'll be happy to edit :)

Welcome LKRDN_Morgan, I hope your stay is short. It is really hard not to symptom spot, I hope you have something to distract yourself. I have added you to the lists, I hope that is ok.

Zeni how are you getting on? Any sign of AF yet? I know what you mean about your friend, I've had exactly the same this week and it's hard because you are happy for them but can't help but be a little sad for you.

I'm CD1 today sadly despite lots of well timed BD. It's now time to go back to the GP and see about next steps as we have been trying for over a year now really, although I have already had lots of tests which have all come back clear so I'm not actually sure there is much that can be done and I'm expecting to be diagnosed with unexplained infertility :( I am looking into a course of fertility massages over the summer to see if that helps at all.

Is anyone else around the year mark? I know some people are further. How have you coped because if I'm honest I am struggling? Anyone sought advice from their GP and what have they suggested? Thanks.

Kirstypoos I hope you have enjoyed your long weekend and cocktails!

Sorry AF got you Chelle. I am not far behind you for going to the doctor, I said to myself 6 months after my miscarriage, I'll go (which would be early august). I'm 37, so hope they would start some initial tests.
Sorry I can only sympathise, hope some of the others on this thread, or graduates, can be of actual help.

Thanks Chelle, much lile you I'm CD1 today but it did decide to be 2 days later than Ovia said, looks like Im back to a 28 cycle this month. Sorry I can't help re: the GP but I hope that it can give you some reassurance and answers x

Sorry AF got you Chelle and Zeni.

I can't help much re:the GP as when I was TTC DD I went to my GP for tests. GP instantly thought I had PCOS so went down that route. I was diagnosed with PCOS and went to the gynae clinic and was prescribed metformin which worked for us. We're supposed to be NTNP so I've decided I'm not going to my GP this time, I'm doing a 'if it happens it happens' approach albeit it has been 19 months since my MC so my positive thinking fluctuates month by month.

Also joining as a BFP hopeful!
1st month trying and I've only just come off my BC very recently, so I'm still pretty clueless on what my usual cycle will be... but you never know. Thinking I might be 1/2/3 dpo?

    Fingers crossed for everyone here.

And hope you have a 'productive' weekend away Kirtsy

Thanks athens - fingers crossed! How are you getting on - any sign of AF?

Thanks Chelle, it was lovely and the cocktails went down very well.

I joined this thread in Dec but wasn't entirely truthful about when we were starting to try as my Mom has an account on here and I was worried she would spot it so I think I'm down as starting TTC in Jan but we actually started trying last September - I'm on cycle 11 now, which I know doesn't sound long but with my gynae history I am worried. I actually went to my GP 2 weeks ago and she has referred me to the female infertility clinic at the hospital - first appointment is 8th August so hopefully if you do head to the Docs, they can refer you nice and quickly. I can't be much help as haven't had any appointments yet!

Zeni, sorry AF got you but fresh start for this month in your new home :) it's difficult when close friends or colleagues announce because there always seems to be a feeling of very happy for them but wish it was you too if that makes sense?

Welcome on board LKRDN_Morgan and KateySW hope your stay is short :)

KateySW I have added you as 1dpo, hope that's ok?

I had a great weekend away in Bulgaria with lots of sun and cocktails. It fell really well as I OV'd yesterday (OHs 30th birthday as it happens!!) so lots of BDing. Fingers crossed! Got back an hour ago, via Asda to pick up a pineapple so am sticking to that theory this month :)
