  • Hugs to you hotcookie. I'm in the same situation (last chance for bfp before mc due date), got a positive on the opk yesterday, but OH too tired. I'm really trying to put all the 'important dates' out of mind as far as I can, as I don't think a deadline helps me at all here. I don't want to completely forget, just to have a clean slate.

We aren't completely out, it just seemed that would have been the ideal time. Off on holiday today, so looking forward to having plenty of fun during the 2ww! Hope you manage some distractions too.

    I'm 1dpo in the 2ww please Kirtsy

Thank you everyone for your thoughts. Today isn't too bad, but am getting really apprehensive about the date coming up. I will probably feel happier after that date, well, I don't know actually. I'm sure this isn't our month anyway...

I thought I ovulated tuesday/wednesday (temp went up weds am, I had EWCM sun/mon and a bit tuesday) but then temp dropped a little bit again this morning) which was CD12/13 so if I did-thats 1-2 whole days earlier than last month, so if I can stick to a 25 day cycle I'd have an almost acceptable LP ;) However, I have had a 21 and a 22 day cycle since MC ...

Temping question-is ovulation the day BEFORE temps rise, or the day they rise? That's why I have 12/13 up there :D

Hi hotcookie, my understanding is that you ovulate when your temperature is at it's lowest, so when you get a temperature rise then you have ovulated. In my experience it can sometimes take a couple of days to rise, sometimes mine rises immediately but this month it took a couple of days. My temp also seems to drop slightly immediately after it has risen, but then goes back up again the next day. Don't know if that is a thing or just me!

Hope that helps! Seems a lot of us have ovulated around about the same time this month so will all be going through the 2ww together :)

    That's my understanding too!

I use FF and Ovia to track my temps and on FF a coverline appears which estimates the day of ovulation - it doesn't do that until a few days later though, so not helpful for planning to BD! Ovia estimates it as well but the 2 apps are disagreeing this month, Ovia thinks I ov'd on 20 June and FF thinks the 23rd.

Hi all, sorry, I have been MIA at my nieces christening this weekend.

I normally get a dip on day of OV and then my temp rises afterwards so not much help with BD planning, but helpful to know when OV happens - especially when cycles go a bit weird!

Well CD1 for me. We knew we were out this month due to the terrible timing of my UTI so it's just a relief to have a relatively normal cycle (45 days) and know we'll get another chance soon.

Fingers crossed for all the lovely ladies in the 2ww!

Sorry AF got you MrsNubs but glad you've had a normalish cycle and can get on to the next one :)

I'm sorry if I've asked this before, but do you want to be added to the list?
