Hi all, well today has left me £10 poorer. Had to go doctors about this ear infection. I'd put up with it a week in the hopes it would clear up with just painkillers but it was stopping me sleeping so got anti biotics from the doctors, £7.85!

Hope the antibiotics are helping sarah and you are feeling better xxx

I have just done 3 craft fairs in 3 days and although I now feel shattered I do have about £150 to add to the savings pot I think. Actually haven't had a chance to sit down and count it yet as hubbie made a lovely roast chicken dinner for us tonight and I ate so much I felt to full to move for a while - it was yummy :)

So I'm hoping I will soon be able to declare another 3% :)

I have been photographing and listing this weekend, list on there now.

Let's see how they go on over the next week, small sales I think but at least they're on for the next time round.

    Good luck everyone!

Hi all, sorry ive been awol, been super busy. Anti biotics working, ear no longer hurts but im still hard of hearing in that ear, so hoping it rights itself soon as i hate not being able to hear well!

Only got 4 relists on Ebay this weeeknd despite my best intentions. However i have sold £30 worth of stuff on FB :j all the money went towards buying the final bits for my home made Xmas presents, fabric/filling etc.

The husband has done just over 20 hours overtime this month, aiming or another 10 before payday so we can put £1500 aside, its gonna be a tight month regardless. But so glad ive practically sorted Xmas and the presents for DS' 3rd birthday party just after Xmas.

Glad to hear you are feeling better happytails and thank you for your encouragement fedup. I have to admit I still did not get round to listing anything on Ebay - but I will - I am determined :)

Well I am rather happy as I done better than I thought at the craft fair yesterday. It means that I now have £175 waiting to be paid into the savings account from my earnings at the 3 days of craft fairs. That's 3.5% - yippeeee - I am a happy bunny :).

However as usual I won't declare it until it is actually in the bank account.

Ok, I'm in :D Finally got an income so worked out how much I owe before getting paid. 1% is £123

Plan for this month is to shuffle my credit cards to get interest free so will incur transfer fees, but hopefully won't be too high. Plus with chrimbo it's gonna be a tough month to save, but focusing on 1%s already feels easier than thinking bout the whole thing :)

Now just need to work out a budget and stop blooming spending so much ;)

Hi everyone, payday is so close now!! The husband did 4 hours overtime last night and will do again today and tomorrow. I got £3 back off a friend yesterday and will be getting £4 off another friend today as i sold her something. All adds up.

Last night i sorted out all DD2's 9-12 month clothes to get pics of to sell. She still fits in some of them at near 13m but she has plenty of 12-18 and no doubt will get more at Xmas. Still got dribs and drabs of younger baby stuff to shift yet. Sales are very slow now its so close to Xmas!

Feeling semi confident about getting this money together for March. I shift between positive and panicky LOL. Off to bump a few of my FB things for sale before heading out to a friends for the morning with the kids :)

Well no joy selling my item as a second chance offer :( I've had to relist it and Ebay charged me to relist :(

Ebay really isn't a big money maker - got about £20 into paypal for sold items and it becomes about £11 after ebay fee's & P+P....

    Still it's £11 I didn't have.....

Broke open this years change tin and counted up all my 5p's & coppers. Once all my ebay listings end I should have 2% to add before xmas....

Liz-paul, yeah Ebay can be more work than its worth sometimes and i hate bidders that change their mind/dont pay. They seem to get more and more frequent. Ebay arent very strict with buyers it seems.

Well my friend paid me my £4 and bought £30 worth of my clothes, paying me Friday so that £30 will go straight to Debt 3 just under .20% but its better than nothing x
