Oh sorry to hear about your SPD Pigpen, hope that it will improve a little for you at least.
I hear you about clothes, I feel horrible in trousers ATM and it's too hot to wear tights so I'm living in leggings. Could you try maybe having one of the older girls/ your OH help you in the morning esp if you fell today?

I'm going back to Ireland tomorrow which means two flights, long !!! layover in UAE and bleh food. Leaving my house at 11am Irish time and I won't reach my house in Ireland to 12pm on Wednesday, as I have a 4 hour drive once I reach Dublin :O

We have a list of names for both genders, there is about 4-5 names on each so we will choose once baby has arrived I think. My mum had such a hard time picking a name for my youngest sister, I remember her being so anxious about it.

I'm so utterly stubborn and fiercely independent I would rather go naked than ask for help.. cutting off my nose to spite my face is a phrase I have heard often throughout my life.. I know I do it and I can't help it. When I was having Squeak OH had to lift my legs into bed it was so bad.. and I hated it, I would gladly struggle and face the pain!

Thats an epic journey.. I think I'd stay where I was ..

OH refuses to discuss names but I have a couple I like and if he doesn't start having some input I will just call it what I want like I did last time!

    Hi Ladies,

Having funny heart palpitations today waiting patiently for them to pass.

They can be related to anaemia if you've not been checked recently!

Flutter.. such sad news.. but lovely that you can include grandmas name in baby's :) We have a wedding invite for 30th May.. OH is going on his own I made an executive decision and the bride is apparently most upset that he is going by himself! OH and I decided not to take any of the girls with him because there will be people drinking etc including OH, so it is best if she doesn't go.

Pigpen: I sympathise with your SPD I had that 11 years ago with my second DS, I am hoping that it doesn't rear it's ugly head this time round.

Skint: I'm under exact same hospitals as you but, I am praying for a fully complication free pregnancy as I want to deliver at the stand alone birth unit at Salford Royal it has such a nicer feel than St Mary's maternity ward. The ultrasound department is miserable at SR at only 32 myself I was the eldest there when I went for my last scan :o Bet it's awful when your DH is recognised given both your lines of work.

I'm not bothering with the antenatal classes, didn't last time around. I just attended various baby groups and made some lovely friends even now, 11 years on we meet regularly for wine and a catch up - minus the kids though ;)

I haven't managed to have a look around St Marys yet, did you have your last baby there? we are going for an appointment next weds so I will ask to have a look around (if they will let me). They haven't even mentioned the birth centre to me so I don't really know what that is :o the only thing that would put me off is again with it being in Salford.

A lot of hospitals seem to have guided tours but you have to book in advance.. I might end up at St Marys yet (OH was born there).. this infernal wedding 4 weeks before due date is making me a bit jittery! OHs cousin is a MW at Stepping Hill. I should really look at options there, just in case!

Hi ladies, sorry I'm really struggling to keep up but will try and catch up tonight.

We had our gender scan last night and after 85% boy guesses we are having a girl! Initially that was our preference so we are absolutely over the moon (but also would have been with a boy!)

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D

Well I've had enough.. another pukey bug.. I've not had one since 1996.. now 2 in a week.. I want to die!! haha.. forever the drama queen! I will be glad when this baby arrives.. this is pretty much the most miserable pregnancy I've had.. my others have all been plain sailing bar the end time issues and SPD .. I've felt ill from day one!

Today I am knitting bunnies.. for kinder egg cosies! I refuse to do another thing!

Congrats jtr :D I was convinced DD was a boy! I think this one is a girl so it's probably a boy!

pigpen - hope you feel better soon, it is miserable, I had a sick bug at 6 weeks pregnant and never really stopped feeling sick.

Sick again this morning :( will be 24 weeks on Friday, reckon it just won't end !!

Keep feeling like we aren't ready for this baby at all. Haven't even thought about a hospital bag, I'm sure I had started packing it last time but I guess we don't need as much this time and have most things so that is why I'm feeling disorganised. Just bought the buggy board which I'm sure DD will love!

I have never had sickness with any of my pregancies, just felt grotty and nauseous with most of them.. but this one I've felt sick from day one, had colds and coughs, and everything going.. I guess its all helping keep weight gain down but I feel awful..

I've got 7 sleepsuits for this one! .. no toiletries or nappies or anything.. we have an age yet.. I havent even cleared space in my room for the basket which is still at my daughters!! she is still using my car seat.. though thats less of an issue because the bigger ones we have are suitable from birth just dont come out of the car.

I was thinking of adding something to the tesco order each time i place one but I think spending the next lot of child benefit on a trip to Boots is probably a better idea.. wipes I have anyway.. so would grab 2 packs of size 1 nappies, a bottle of baby bath and a roll of cotton wool.. with experience that is all you need! There is always a shop open and an offer on somewhere!!.. my 7lb 2 baby went straight into size 2 nappies so bulk buying is just silly.

My daughter was sick all they through with both of hers.. and hospitalised several times. On 3 lots of medication and still sick constantly.
