Hi everybody, survived the MRI, wasnt so bad so just have to wait for my results. Lovely day as the sun was gorgeous and we were not at our local hospital so we came home the scenic route. Was beautiful. We also had a quick drive around some areas we are looking to maybe move to. Nothing caught our fancy. Need to start thinking about Christmas but with me being off sick still my wage is virtually 0 at the moment so we have no spare cash. Need to get back to work but they wont let me until they know what it is. My results appt has been delayed by 5 weeks! Radiographer said to ring the specialist in about a week. So frustrating as i love my job and cannot wait to get back in

GTQ- I love studio products but their customer service is not great. I dont have an account anymore because of that. I usually use my friends account if I am desperate for anything.
Tincan- Hi Tin can hope you are ok. good to see you again
Mrs I- Your new conservatory roof sounds exciting, hope you had a great afternoon at the school.
Chrissyg- glad to hear dds insurance is getting sorted out x
Free- i did laugh when i read about your daughters april fool joke.
Vulpix- Hope you are feeling better xx
Peppa- how are you and Mr Peppa doing?

Hi,what lovely weather today. It proper cheers me up.

Free your daughter did a great April fool there, hahaha. Now,I know you don't enjoy going to the Drs and the like but a mammogram is nothing at all.The people doing it have seen it all and are very professional. It always amazes me how they apologise for the discomfort. Some people must make a big fuss.It is firm pressure and thats the worst of it ,honest. I had my first mammogram 2 days after we came back from honeymoon, and thank goodness I went.I didn't want to because I wanted to do loads of laundry! within a week I was at the hospital on the breast cancer treatment road. Bloomin fantastic service. So,ALL OF YOU don't miss an appointment. I didn't feel ill or have any symptoms.Better safe than sorry.

0462 I hope you get back to work soon, and fingers crossed that the scan results lead to something for you.I am going to go into school every Monday.I still have my mojo!

I am still strict with the diet.I am determined atm.Join in with me Free,we can do it together.

    Wheres Murie?

    Love Vx

Vulpix- I am here, just not had much to say (and a bad dose of cba!) so haven't posted.
Glad to see everyone is Ok (ish).
The weather was lovely yesterday but so far today its not looking so good. I planted some columnar fruit trees last week and am hoping they take , although at the moment they just look like sticks in the ground! I have an apple pear cherry and damson and I planted them up against a wall that has trellis on so they have plenty of support (not that they should need it). Has anyone grown any of these? I was going to put them in pots as that's what they are designed for (apparently) but then decided against that and planted them in the ground. Any advice would be welcome x.
For anyone that remembers my issues with the pizza oven that I brought DS a few Christmases ago (namely the number of stubbed toes I had walking into the blooming thing for 4 months cus I couldn't store it anywhere!), I've seen that Aldi have one that goes on sale today, its £40. DS love his (its designed to be used on a BBQ) and I have to say it does make really good pizzas in mega quick time once its got to temp. The one at Aldi seems exactly the same as the one I got DS so if anyone has a summer birthday for anyone who loves their BBQ it would make a fab present.

Me too, need to lose about 10lbs. lost 2 of them last week, but they found me again this.
Yes, go for your mammogram, it is more than 14 years since l had to have a double mastectomy, thats how important it is. and in those years l have seen 2 of the kids married, 3 grandnibs, got my degree, and lived every minute.
Did an hour tidying up in the garden yesterday, but whilst adding pansies to a spring tub, l found that l had the dreaded vine weevil grubs in the pot, so l will have to clear them all out, get rid of all my lovely fuschias, and start again next year. Bu@@er it.
Microsoft edge isnt working so l have used google chrome, and my favourites icon is absent, so l must get my little guru up to fix it. (fave cous's soon to be DDIL) she is so computer savvy it hurts.
Nothing new christmassy but l hace started to clear out cupboards and drawers to make space for when l get mojo'd

Hope everyone is ok, nothing has happened with my situation if anything its getting worse. Im back sleeping at my parents lounge floor on an air bed and going back to mine during day. But they say my benefits are ok, doesnt stop someone ( one of bullies was bragging about it) reporting me for benefit Fraud. It was shut down as the relevant people know about my situation but still it was awful to hear someone hates me that much.

Anyways trying to stay positive Im doing a complementary healing course.

I got a box of Turkish delight in Marks and Sparks for 75p the date on back said June 2020 so thats been put in a newly cleaned Christmas cupboard.

Free, I'm with everyone else on the mammogram. I had a routine one 18 months ago and they were not happy with it, called back a few times for various tests (each dependent on previous result), but they finally gave me the all clear, eventually decided it was scarring from previous lumpectomy. To save me going through the stress in future, they have inserted a marker clip where the scarring is, so it can be ignored.
A smile costs little but creates much :)

0462 /FREE were ok thank you, Mr P is still skinny but at least eating properly now. Unfortunately I!!!8217;m still eating everything in sight! I!!!8217;m really hoping my appetite will drop when we get some sunshine.

FREE good job you can take a practical joke. :rotfl:

GTQ I!!!8217;m another one who doesn!!!8217;t order from Studio any more although I must admit I!!!8217;m not 100% sure why now because it!!!8217;s been a while :D.

Wasn!!!8217;t the weather good yesterday? A bit overcast again here today but at least it isn!!!8217;t raining. We had a good day in the garden yesterday and the little birds seem to have finally decided to eat from the bird feeder so I!!!8217;m happy.

I agree about the mammograms too. MRSINVIS and VULPIX you!!!8217;re the real life proof that it!!!8217;s worth it. I find them pretty uncomfortable but once I!!!8216;ve assured myself that nothing is actually going to burst I!!!8217;m fine. It!!!8217;s funny really because if you squashed yourself like that outside of a mammogram you!!!8217;d be scared you!!!8217;d damaged something. :D.

I!!!8217;ve found my thoughts turning to Christmas a few times recently but I!!!8217;m trying to resist because I want to try and live in the moment a bit more and plan ahead a bit less. I!!!8217;m determined that I won!!!8217;t do any hampers this year though. I do them because I really enjoy it but if I!!!8217;m honest I!!!8217;m not sure the recipients get as much out of it as I do so I!!!8217;m going to go cold turkey this year and not do any. Did you see the festive reference to turkey there?;) I!!!8217;m sticking to saving every month in my Christmas and Birthdays envelope so hopefully will be able to fund all the pressie buying and extra costs from that. I!!!8216;ll still shop for Christmas by the end of November though so I can just enjoy December and the run up to the festivities.

SORRY FOLKS, I HAVE NO IDEA WHY ALL THE APOSTROPHES IN THIS HAVE BEEN CHANGED TO !!!8217 BUT IT WONT LET ME CHANGE THEM BACK SO I SHALL GIVE UP TRYING.
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :

Afternoon all, hope you are all doing ok. We had such a lovely spring day yesterday and today it is back to pouring rain :rotfl:

Did anyone go to the M&S sale? I went the other day (before they dropped it all to 90% off) and was still pleased with the few bargains I picked up.

Nothing Christmassy done here yet but will soon start to pick up a few little things. I did pick up some prosecco toppers from work cheaply which will be added to a couple of birthday presents. Still saving my pennies every month though so the Christmas funds are there when we see things.

Should be joining most of you in losing some weight but no matter how good I am it always seems to stay static :rotfl: - besides we still have Easter chocolate in the house as we paid a trip to our favourite chocolate shop on a day out and ended up buying some of their homemade mini chocolate eggs.

    Evening my christmassy lovelies :D

I am another one who is joining the weight loss train. I am still in the 'healthy' section according to the NHS chart thingy but very much on the higher end of it so need to do something before I get any bigger :( DH said 'ooo i'll join you!' (he is very much past the 'healthy' section ;) ) and then went out today with DS and went to Maccy D's! so obviously no support from him at all then!
We are planning a holiday next year and want to take my mum with us and I refuse to feel uncomfortable in my clothes while we are there. Ideally would like to lose a stone which would fit me comfortably back in my clothes so hopefully now i've told you all I will leave the biscuits and cake alone as I won't want to come back and tell you all I failed :o (DS and My birthdays are both next month so obviously the cake bit does not include birthday cake but i will not buy any other cake from the supermarket!)

Ooo Free, your cheeky daughter, but that is funny :)

Sorry Murie, I am a complete plant killer so am no help to you with your flowers (doesn't stop my mother leaving me in charge of her house plants every holiday . . hasn't been a year go by that I haven't almost killed them :rotfl: )

Took DD to her karate class' National championships yesterday, she didn't take part as she just wanted to see what it was like before she signed up to participate in one (she's very self concious and shy) she has now decided she would like to attend the next one (3 hrs away!) and I said 'ooo good, can daddy and I watch this time? (we are NOT allowed to watch her test as she cries) and she said 'umm nope, you can just drop me off'. No idea what we are suppsed to do for 8 hrs in a strange town 3 hrs from home :rotfl: but at least she wants to have a go :)

Nothing christmassy going on as i've kind of lost the christmas mojo, all the kiddies in my family are getting older now so it seems to all be cash rather than gifts :(
