    Hi

    Hope to save £700

    Thank You

A VERY warm welcome to you Monitino No 034! It's lovely to have you with us. :grinheart Have fun saving and enjoying the banter. You'll find your numbers at the bottom of the list on the 3rd post of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. PS. We always empty our pots and declare our savings in November, please make a note of this year's date: 1st Nov 2018.

Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away. ;)

*Please pop your number on your sig, it really helps me.

Monitino - keep reading the 1st post on here as there are so many ways to save money but I appreciate it can’t all be taken in with just reading through. Emily E4rub has been very truthful with you in saying that she’s been where you are! Keep budgeting well and do everything possible in order to pot every single penny possible because it’s a true old saying that pennies make pounds!!!! Always remember... you’re NOT the only one in your predicament!! :)

Many thanks for the welcome to Monition, Emily, here’s a gold star especially for you! :staradmin

Hi SPCers! I hope you all had a super weekend and are, so far, enjoying the week.
To those who aren’t well or who are low right now, here are some get well {{{{hugs}}}} hoping you will soon be feeling much better. :grinheart

Brilliant saving 166million!!! It’s so good to see you here regularly now, please keep it up!! :D

    Very well done Chutney!!

It’s good to hear you’ve been able to use vouchers to help out after Christmas, charlies tribe, but now the potting begins in earnest I see!!!! :j

Hi 32b3, don’t worry about the amount you’ve potted, the main thing is that you’ve put cash in your pot and knowing you it’s a worthwhile sum! Great savings since though!!! :T BTW Your VSPC No is on your siggy.

32b3 has her VSPC on her siggy, Westie! ;) Crikey THAT is one heck of a pot you have there!!!!!:shocked:

BTW I just read your latest post Westie!!!! Martin and those at MSE Towers are going to have to act and act QUICKLY to stop such things happening or threads here will all be gone!!!!:eek: Surely if all threads to suffer are via a spammer (legitimate or not) there should be a way that folk press the button BUT THEN HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL A MODERATOR DECIDES WHETHER IT’S JUSTIFIED!!!!! That was always the way on a nature forum I used to be on, folk like yourself should be Moderators on MSE rather than Board Guides.

It sounds as though you had a brilliant bargain from Sa!nsburys, Treasurequeen, very well done! Congratulations on your bingo win too, an excellent sum for the pot!!!!! :j

    Very good potting MrsShazbat!!!

£2 is indeed a start, squanderscouse, and it’s starts the encouragement to keep adding more! Very well done!!! :D

It certainly sounds as though you had a great weekend, Whatshername, possibly an extended one!! Good potting too!!

Whatever the amount you’re able to pot through the week, nannygladys, it’s far better than not potting anything!! There’s no pressure for any of us to save specific amounts - what’s affordable for us as individuals is what we should be delighted with!! ;)

It’s great to see you in, jakes-mum, you wouldn’t believe past events now would you?! They’ll need to act promptly to ensure it’s not a regular happening though.... or worse!!!!!!
Isn’t it horrible when our little treasures get into double figures! :(Still, we can’t stop it happening, I hope she has a really lovely Birthday; also that you’re as ok as possible! :)

Well saved Littlebigmoose! I share your feelings with loose change in pockets, purses too - far better potted!!

Ooh a very good sale Jaydee92, very well potted too!!!!!! :D
Enjoy your Tuesday, folks. ..and keep on potting!!! :D
    Sue xx

Resurrected my Credit Union today, gave up on it when couldnt get to bank (7 miles and 2 buses away) to take in heavy coins. Now a CU branch has opened only 3 minutes walk away.Invested £20 today in my House and Home Fund (saving for the next machine that breaks down, then a new carpet).I know its not in the pot for Xmas, but can I share the news of all my savings for the year to this thread on November 1st?
Very slow week for the pot so far, though I did add £1.69 in change from Tesco this morning.
Its the family history class tomorrow,£2 per person paid, hopeful of some nice shiny coins for the pot!:T:T

Thank you for the welcome back 32b3

She had a lovely day, thank you Sue :) Thoroughly spoilt and we had to have dinner out as (according to miss double figures) 'Everyone has their dinner out on their birthday!' and she made sure she had a sandwich for school dinner today just to make sure! :rotfl: Oh its so awful she's so grown up! where has the time gone? When I first joined the thread I was saving for her first big bike and now look at her! she'll be at secondary school before I know it :(

No pennies in the pot today for me, but Miss Lily put ALL her birthday money in her savings envelope so we are using that as our potting news today :rotfl:

Ooops - haven't posted in a while but I have been potting!
OH now on board too - he is saving mostly £2 coins and is very pleased with himself when he adds another one to the collection - we have a savings box with a 'window' so it's good to see the coins mount up. My other 'pot' is a sealed tin so that is more of a mystery.
Now the festivities and Christmas birthdays are past I would like to get back on track!

Checking in for January! potted an amazing £70 so far! DGS had had a couple of siezures, he's only 2, one of them was at our house so recognised it straight away and kept calm, DH wasn't though. He had another one at home and Mum and Dad rang for an ambulance which arrived within minutes, the crew were at the hospital round the corner from them so straight to the Children's Hospital. Consultant thinks it's generalised epilepsy going on family history and not anything sinister thank goodness. He's to have an EEG, good luck with that, it took 2 nurses, mone doctor and mum and dad to get bloods!
On a lighter note, summer holiday is booked, we're off to Weymouth, something to look forward to.

Ooh I have had a panic with the lost thread. Tried to find it Friday, thought it was a glitch. Tried again on Monday. By Tuesday I was having serious withdrawal symptoms.....Thank you Sue for sorting me out. I'm so glad we're back up and running. I miss my SPC family.

In potting news, I have £13.56 to pop in my pot today. :)

    Afternoon peoples

Very bright and white here after all the snow - more forecast unfortunately :(

Was planning to go bowling and for a meal out to celebrate my birthday today, but have cried off due to the weather. The bowling centre is about twelve miles away and unfortunately the road there is prone to high winds and snow whenever there's any about. I don't fancy taking the chance. Will keep fingers xd that we can go next week instead.

    Potted £20 birthday money :j

Hope you're all staying warm and safe and have a great day
