2015 sounds like it was a great year, lippy! Net savings of £9,310 is great.0

Thanks CAM.
I have been saving cash for the credit card debt over the last year, so when the time comes I can just pay it all off.
The bed was heavily discounted thanks to the post Christmas sales and we managed to negotiate some managers discount as well as free delivery of course. I still couldn't believe the price of bed shopping though. The memory foam mattress advertised for our bed of choice was originally priced at £1785....... just for the mattress. Crazy or what.
DD's have not been taken yet due to the holiday. It really annoys me as I would like to see my mortgage balance decreased and I am so impatient . Anyway, I have still sent my £500 OP - The first of 2016 and hopefully of another 11 OP's this year.
I will update my balance/figures shortly once everything is showing.Total Mortgage OP £61,000Outstanding Mortgage £27,971Emergency Fund £62,100I AM NOW MORTGAGE NEUTRAL!!!! <<Sep-20>>0 -

Not a good start to the year I'm afraid moneymaker. Overspent on xmas and DS 2nd birthday so have no cash at all. Had to get a new tire for the car as well which has been more money spent than expected. Not only have I not been able to save anything but I'm horrified to say I've dipped into my savings this month
EF2 has taken the hit and now stands at £750 not £1k anymore. I get paid in a few days so I'm reluctant to update my signature with the deductions and hope to replenish what I've taken out.
I don't like leaving posts on a low, so on the bright-side our new bed has finally arrived. It's lush! So comfy and makes our bedroom look like a posh showroom :rotfl:
I absolutely must do some ebaying soon. Need to declutter and hopefully make some cash in the meantime. Just finding the time with work, evening college and a toddlerTotal Mortgage OP £61,000Outstanding Mortgage £27,971Emergency Fund £62,100I AM NOW MORTGAGE NEUTRAL!!!! <<Sep-20>>0 -
At least you made your £500 over payment this month. Better to have money towards the mortgage saving you more over the long term than in a savings account earning you a small amount short term. Savings £18,000 / £25,000 :beer:0

True and as long as I keep up my monthly £500 OP I will be happy. Got my annual mortgage statement through the post last week. Nice to see my OP's taking effect and reducing the term.
I have made a decision not to upgrade my Iphone 6 when the new one comes out. Going to carry on with my current contract until it is over and then try to live contract free for a few years.....
