Super quick post before bed but trying to get back in the habit of daily posting. Car was at the garage today so £322.88 spent  thankfully all budgeted for. The tiny bit left over in that fund will go towards my annual parking permit which is due to be renewed in a few weeks time, hopefully it will be the same price as last year (£50). Also spent £4.20 on bus fares and £4.67 on a few items at the supermarket.
    Debt Dec 2022 - £2972.68. Current debt - £0 (100% paid). Flat deposit - £10552.61/£15000 (70.4% saved). Emergency fund - £1437.01/£1500 (95.8% saved).

Thanks for your post monz, yep it's not ideal but hopefully that will be it for a while.

Long day today as did usual shift at work, home for a couple of hours and then back to work to go to an evening event with one of the guys. Was fun though and a NSD too :D

Paid for the run entry today which was £23 and also spent £29.08 at the supermarket. I phoned the existing car insurer to let them know I will not be renewing the policy and then went online and paid for next year's car insurance which was £324.66. It has gone on the credit card, I've updated my signature and it's reduced the % paid off the car debt from 49% to 3% which is rather annoying :( but it has motivated me to make sure I save more money in the car fund so the same thing doesn't happen next year.

Had to buy petrol today (£36.83) but a NSD other than that. Really not much else to report, watched a film with OH when I got home from work, did a meal plan for next week and then watched the rugby on catchup.

Spent £9.97 on the bits I forgot to get yesterday, £6.99 of that was on a big box of washing tabs. I had bought one's from Lid! to save some money but they were making OH itch so have gone back to the usual.

Went to the gym after work which I really enjoyed, will try to go again tomorrow. Want to try and get into the habit of going regularly especially as I won't run as much over winter.

Me and OH have decided to go down to Edinburgh again for a weekend so booked a room today. It was only £85 :) which my shift with 2nd job this weekend will cover.
