Today I am grateful for a good day at work, for being able to get a pesky task finished, for a lift part-way home, for my requests for 2 'tweaks' at work both being granted, for dh cooking tea, for laughs with colleagues, for not getting too wet on the way home (better than getting wet on the way to work, eh?), for so much greenery out there, for a good book, for Headspace.

she says after she agreed to buy a 2nd hand ride on mower!!)
Exercise – WHHHAAATTTT??? Does dog walking count or not???

Simples...don't buy the ride on mower to save some pennies. Do it manually instead and burn those calories ;):p

Another spend day. Realised had forgotten to buy anything to put on hubby's butties so treated us to a subway and then bobbed to shop to buy some for rest of the week.

Also bought diesel and spent £3.50 on playgroup for little man but they were both planned and budgeted for.

I forgot to budget for father's day but luckily have £15 in vouchers from surveys to spend on my dad and doing something homemade with handprints and footprints for little man's pressie to his daddy which I've already got stuff for.

    A NSD tomorrow I hope :)

    Grateful for

Invitation to parents for tea tonight
Little man falling asleep easily tonight
Car finally being paid off ( some put on cc but no more dd)

    Morning everyone :)

    Yesterday = NSD number 3

    Today I am grateful for:
    • The return of the sunshine after days of rain
    • For the Art of Budget Balancing!
    • Food in my cupboards
So yesterday was an NSD, and managed some mindfulness. I'm avoiding spending and have used some stuff up from the cupboards. Long may it last!

Today looks lovely outside. I'm sad I'm indoors all day at work until 6pm - maybe I will try and make some time to get outdoors.

Have a lovely day and I'll check in later on.

Only work spend yesterday for travel to courses, so counting that as NSD.

Really great day - lots of networking. The course 'Resilience and Dealing with Change' couldn't have come at a better time. Onwards. Must knuckle down to the CV writing today.

Sore legs from the run on Sunday but I did a legs session at the gym yesterday, and I have PT this morning.

I'm going to help out a friend next week - she does dog walking and her colleague is going on holiday so she needs a hand. Great. Exercise and dogs for 2hrs a day. Heaven.
    Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18
    Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o

    Hello,

no SFD yesterday either, grrrr. Needed milk and forgot that DS needed a plain red or blue t-shirt for his school's good bye show (will be torn down over the summer) this Friday.

Dreadful weather but my plan was today anyway to go on the spin bike in the gym. Also started the 4:3 eating plan. I won't call it a diet as I'm not using it to loose weight but for the health benefits and it might save some money too on silly snacks etc. Today is my first fast day (500kcal) and I have planned a super yummy healthy dinner to look fwd to. I'll see how I get on with it. Anyone else tried it? It's meant to be good to loose fat if needed but keep the muscle, lower cholesterol etc etc and seems to be based on the prehistoric way of eating when food wasn't available all day long/every day.

Ouch, that's some big car bills. If it weren't for DH and kids (more DH) I could quite happily live without one. They are just so expensive and unpredictable as an expense.

Well having only cost me MOT cost last few years its making up for it now. I couldn't live without one. Not far from town but ontop of a very steep hill with limited bus service. I like exploring mountains around North Wales at weekends impossible without a car

Working on cheap meal plans :D
