Zeni I went through a curve - cut down a bit (which was basically just no insane nights), then cut down totally when it wasn't working, then at beginning of 2016 I thought stuff it this could be a while I'm being myself and that's when we caught twice on the trot!
Just before we coneceived this one we'd been on a pretty boozy holiday to Tuscany drinking a LOT of prosecco. I genuinely believe relaxing helped, and having some wine was part of that :-)Officially Mrs B as of March 2013
TTC since Apr 2015, baby B born March 20170 -
I'm not really much of a drinker Last time I had a drink was work's Xmas do in December and before that was August. With the last pregnancy I did 'everything right'. Didn't drink, watched what I ate and didn't dye my hair. I then miscarried.
With DD I had been out a fair few times with substantial drinking and my diet was really bad then found out I was pg at 9 weeks. She's turned out fine.
AF is due on Tuesday. I'm going on a planned night out on Saturday that's been arranged since December. I will most definitely be drinking as we're doing one of those cocktail making things. I like to think this is all part of my more relaxed TTC journey. The stress I put myself under last year can't have been healthy and certainly the odd drink can't be that much worse.
You hear so many stories of ladies living life to the full and unknowingly being pg until they give birth. Their babies always seem fine.0 -
I haven't stopped drinking. I only fancy a drink every couple of weeks generally anyway. OH has booked us a trip to Bruges for my birthday in March. AF will be due a few days after we get back but I will be sampling a couple of the Belgian beers whilst we will be there.
My sis and best friend found out they were pregnant within a week of each other just after xmas last year - they had both been out drinking for christmas and both got totally sloshed (One wasn't trying at all, and one had only been off the pill a week so didn't think about not drinking) and they both had beautiful healthy babies!:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Hello ladies, sorry I disappeared for so long. Was feeling pretty disheartened and trying not to think about TTC at all. Anyway, I am now, I think 6dpo so can I please be updated in the lists?
Pretty confident we missed this month, we were both too tired most of the time to BD. But we're going away for a long weekend on Sunday back to the place we got engaged so I'm looking forward to just relaxing and having some time together, and it's completely the wrong time for TTC so I don't need to worry about it the whole time
To join the drinking discussion, I've decided to keep drinking through TTC as I've done a lot of research and it doesn't seem like there's much risk early on. I rarely get too smashed anyway, but DH and I often share a bottle of wine or have a couple of pints, so I've decided to carry this on.0 -

Thanks ladies, you guys are amazing just to hear other people say what I'm thinking! I'm not really much of a drinker so going with alcohol for weeks doesn't bother me but I am a social one so will be good to know I can enjoy myself and have some drinksSwagbuckling since Aug 2016 - Earnings so far.. £55.0
