    Morning all,

Poor nights sleep here. I have some tiny lumps under my left armpit which are really painful, probably just swollen lymph nodes or similar but they blimmin hurt.

Beds made, kiddies getting dressed, I'm off to work in ten minutes. Have lovely days all xx

    Morning all.

ATB - take care and don't forget to look after yourself in all your busy-ness. X

I hope the toothache disappears, Narc0.

It's put me right out, having to go to work today. It's funny how quickly you can get used to a change of routine. Still, last night, after a supreme effort and motivated by HB, I cracked the tax return. I'll give it the once over tonight or tomorrow, and then it should be good to go.

Clean washing sorted. A random box of food pulled from the freezer for dinner. DH is going to love it - lentils are involved, which are not top of his list.

Just remembered - car needs petrol on the way to work. Must dash, have a good day.

Morning all have put a washload on (3rd) and made a coffee. Back in bed for a bit.
Have a huge ironing pile to tackle.
    And a dirty house.

Well given no-ones posted since I posted this ^ this morning I might as well edit...

    so

    I have cleaned the kitchen
    I have cleaned the bathroom
    I have ironed one heap
I have washed a load more and pegged it all out
    Done a work job
Changed DS's bed and cleaned his room, with windows open so everywhere smells sweet again, and done a bit of judicious flinging of cosmetic type stuff that's been lingering a long time so is well ood.
I also washed, dried and ironed the pillow protectors from his bed
Just having a :coffee: then need to tidy up and put machines (vacuum and steam cleaner) away.
I do love cleaning up on sunny days when I can open windows.
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

Back home but did Fly this morning before going out to work.
    Bed made
    Lounge tidied
    Kitchen tidied and wiped down.
    Hoovered thoroughly all of downstairs.

Man came and quoted for pellet stoves, just need to persuade OH and find the funds. Also went and got a second quote.

Lovely long chat with DD1 who has had a worderful day today working in hospital today. She is student doctor and here they do 6 weeks working the 6 weeks studying then repeat. It's so good to have her so happy and motivated despite finding the days long.

Still have some admin work to do but I'm not going to do it tonight, so hopefully will find time tomorrow evening as working all day.

A few bits have made it to the bin so hoping one day this house will be nice. Might try and do a bit in the bathroom tonight as need to find some more shower gel.

Yesterday I finished weighing out the ingredients, and today I have mixed and baked my two big birthday cakes (to share with family and friends) and our mini Christmas cake (just for the two of us :p).

    I have also
    - WUDUPA the baking things
    - done some prep for the course I'm doing this term
    - sent out the toddler group reminder, including an appeal for the Food Bank
    - cooked lunch
    - taken Rosie for a walk
    - been to college to swap my library books and catch up with some friends who are doing a 3-year course
    - also taken in some books from our local specialist library which is closing down, for the Librarian to have first pick for the shelves and the students second pick
    - passed on two children's car seats to a friend for use with their refugee project

...so a certain amount of flingage has taken place and my toots list has got a bit shorter :D

    Now for GBBO ;)

    Cleared up after dinner

And did the admin task that I was going to put off. Still worried that it is going to become a frog (insurance claim in a rented property) but doing my best to keep it under control. Although OH has now sent me another task to sort out but this new one will result in us getting money so more motivation. Can't do new task until bank is open so will try and call tomorrow but I guess it will have to wait until Thursday as groups all day tomorrow.

Enjoy GBBO tonight, our version is tomorrow night. I sometimes manage to find GBBO on youtube but lousy quality and not always. Cup of tea, book and early night.

Evening [cough, splutter, gasp]. I'm not well. Why they insist on kids coming back to school when they are obviously still ill - and very obviously still infectious, going by how I have felt overnight and today - is beyond me.

Had a couple of long conversations with Himself last night and this evening. Due to the daftness of his mother and the obstinacy of his father, he's decided to come back home for a while so they can individually find out the consequences of their individual stupidass decisions.

Once his father is physically able to access his flat again, he'll go back for a bit and sleep on a blow up mattress in the hallway (no room anywhere else) to help/let him see the reality of trying to live there again when he's now disabled and that it was never a comfortable place even when fit and healthy. And his mother can have the expense of paying for burst pipes, floods, mould and/or squatters when she gets back from her fancy holiday with her boyfriend, rather than pay about thirty quid in gas and electric for Himself to housesit for the period.

I'm not impressed with either of them at the moment. They sound like a pair of bloody children - and particularly dim ones at that. I don't think Himself is particularly impressed, either, particularly as I'm being crucified financially by all this. (I have the feeling one of my best mates has been talking to Himself as well - he was threatening to do it when he saw that I'd lost weight).

I am going to have a long bath and go to bed in the hope that I wake up tomorrow with my throat not swollen up so much. After all, I've got that interview in the afternoon - and my manager has offered to talk me through what an extra duties interview is likely to be like. It's nice to feel supported for a change.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Good luck with the interview, Jojo.

Yesterday was busy at work, and a long day out of the house - long by my standards these days anyway! Consequently, it was enough to keep on top of the washing, ironing, feeding the troops and giving the kitchen a s&s.

DH has taken today off to finish a couple of outside jobs before the threatened wind / rain, which means that he is not only under my feet, but he will be wanting attention and a spare pair of hands. It also means that I had to confess that I was actually popping into work for an hour to try to catch up. He was not impressed, especially as it will be unpaid. Oh and it is our wedding anniversary today. 26 years. By the skin of our teeth at times.

Back later, have a lovely day all.

Hope you're feeling better this morning JoJo and good luck with the interview. Don't forget to SMILE, proven to reduce stress in both the person smiling and being smiled at.

    Congrats on anniversary Fayolle

A good nights sleep here, although it always takes me longer to fall asleep than I would ilike. So ready to attack today. Bedroom, living room and kitchen are looking fine and I appreciated that I had tidied round last night when I came down this morning. Enjoying calm and quiet and a cup of coffee.

Full day at work today and then shopping on the way home. DD1 coming for quick lunch tomorrow to pick up some bits she needs, unfortunately I'm working late afternoon and she's got lectures in the evening so it will only be a brief visit.

Off to work to try and turn my classroom into an aquarium complete with ticket booth for role play!

    Hugs to all that need/want.
