They had people backed up in the foyer who probably looked more like buyers than us so they let us go. Can't say it was a hard sell as we didn't stay long! Maybe if they think you are a likely candidate and had no one else to interview they would try harder. I think they has guessed straight away we were just there for the vouchers and cheap holiday. Any on to the holiday vouchers; Anyone had experience of the Exclusive Lifestyle Passport holiday experience? I have two weeks to make up my mind whether to go or not, and spend £29.50 up front per person to book. I guess the catch is its another timeshare outfit who 'know where you live' so to speak if you went.on the hol. I'd be prepared to put up with one hard sell but if it was all week then I might not do it. If anyone has any experience of one i'd like to know.

Since last post we have decided that cheap hol is worth the risk. Its through an outfit called Ambassador Holidays, its another arm or Club La Costa by the looks of it. Have carefully chosen holiday dates so we avoid dates too close to November or December as weather may be bad. Anyway looks kosher so far as have received confirmation of 'booking' if thats the right word, hotel, airport and dates all TBA. We figured that at about £300 all in for a holiday is cheap by any measure so will put up with one days hard sell. I'll update this thread when more details arise.

We won annd went for the pesentation which lasted 3-4 hrs. Thank God i went with my wife i almost fell. What i need to know, has anybody gone with their children. I have 3 and the youngest is 18months. is this worth the risk. It sounds cheap even at £300, i will have to fork out £99 + taxes for the baby. And does any body know what holiday week means. I plan to put in halfterm holidays otherwise it won,t be wrth it. We really need this holiday.:A0

My advice is DO NOT pay for the "free " holiday unless you are really flexible with travel dates as they will no doubt offer you a destination you don't want or dates you can't go.
I wrote a post about our recent overall experiences and what they are really trying to sell you.
Once you part with the £29.90 "admin" fee + "airport taxes" (£50 see below)you may as well say good bye to it.
In your case that would be £80 x 4 + (£99 +£30) so about £450.00
Though
may mean that the infant only cost £30.00Any infant under the age of two, upon their return to the UK, will be subject to a ticketing fee of £30 and must be seated with an adult over sixteen years of age. All children over two years of age will be classed as adult passengers.
You have an 18 month period in which to choose your 4 choices.
You must submit these choices within 14 days of getting the letter.
You can only choose 1 "greyed out" week (ie. school holidays)
Arrival dates vary per resort
Tenerife Friday
Spain Sat\Sun
Portugal Frid\Sat\Sun
So your "week" may start on the Friday or Sunday etc.

They can't give an exact figure
so will average out what they think it will be.
From historical data they provide expect about £50.00 per person0 -
We went to one of their presentations in Leeds, told the salesman straight away that we were not interested in timeshare but only wanted free holiday so we exchanged jokes for the next hour. We recently got a letter from them saying we would be off to Costa Del Sol on week 13 next year. We went on a similar thing three years ago and we ended up in 5 star apartment in Benalmadena including a free hire car! This holiday, so far, has cost us£316 which for four adults is not bad.0

Hi,
We as a family have just come back from Malta, staying in a 5* Hotel, for a week, all for the total cost of £98.
Admittedly we had to buy our own flights, but we did stay in a very nice SAS Radisson Hotel. When you look at it you couldn't do that for £98.
We did have to sit through an hour and half talk on the benefits of buying a appartment, which also included a tour of the hotel, refreshments were included.
The sales team were NOT pushy, we told them we were not interested and we had an enjoyable time.
I asked at the end, what would have happened if we didn't do the chat & tour, and the saleman admitted we could have stayed and there was nothing they could do about it....
I feel if your strong willed enough to sit down and say "No Thankyou", go and enjoy yourself.0 -
I got the phone call while I was off work with a fractured knee. ''i had won a FREE holiday'' I knew there would be a time share catch and spoke to some friends who actually went away to Costa Del Sol and said it was nice and they did not get too bothered. Plus I would get a £25 voucher so thought I would give it a go as you had a choice of 3 holidays.
We were told it would be 2 hours. 4 hours later and we said no for the tenth time and he went to get our free vouchers for our choice of holiday.
My parents have an appartment in the south of Spain but the rep assured me i could choose Tenerife or Portugal, so we paid the £29.50 each as it had to be done within 2 weeks. I was worried that they would try and send us to Costa del Sol as that is the only place people i have spoken to have been sent.
We had to give 4 avaiable dates 8 weeks apart. I then received a letter few days later saying we could go to Costa Del Sol in Feb and they wanted a further £49.95 each for airport taxes. I was gutted. the only place i didn't want to go was the south of Spain and was assured that would not happen. Plus another £100!!
I spoke with Exclusive Life Style Passports, and they said in my terms and conditions they could send you wherever they wanted due to the dates. I asked to go to Tenerefie at any avaiable date but they said it could not be done.
So a free holiday would end up costing £80 each plus 4 hours of your time. Honestly do not bother unless you want to go to Costa Del Sol and have some slimey saleman all over you for 4 hours of you time!0 -
Hi. I'm thinking of going on one a "free" holiday in May to the Costa Del Sol. Can anyone who's been tell me how much I can expect to pay to get from the airport to Fuengerola or Benalmadena? I'm planning to say no to all the reps and just enjoy a cheap holiday.
Thank you.

HI,
can anyone who has managed to go on the free holiday tell me how they make it compulsory to attend the talk please? I mean, would they throw you out of the accommodation if you didn't attend?
I've had confirmation of my Scotland trip in May this year and I'm thinking I'll just not turn up to the talk and tour...0 -
My partner and I attended a Exclusive lifestyle presentation November 08 in Bristol we sat through 3 - 4 hours of talks and presentations, soft to hard sell during this time different sales reps visited us at our table offering different options of why we should purchase a holiday home. The final sales rep got a little distraught as we did not want to take up the offer and buy a timeshare.
We were then eventually presented with out free holiday details place of choice i.e Spain, Portugal, Scotland & Cornwall and would have to pay £29.50 and choose 4 dates and post it to their head office.
We choose Portugal and paid the appropriate fee and heard nothing back from the company. We phoned several times towards the end of January but the phones rang and no one answered and we were unable to leave messages. Eventually we wrote to the head office and asked if they they could confirm dates as we have to book annual leave through our companies.
We received a letter within a few days offering a holiday in Spain and to pay the balance for flights and choose an airport and send the forms back within 7 days.
Again tried phoning the company and eventually spoke to someone who was extremely rude I tried to explain that we wanted to go to Portugal but was offered Spain and basically told tough you have to take what is on offer and again the airport could be anywhere on their list subject to availability not the nearest one to our location. So we could end up in Scotland from the Southwest!
I then wrote to the company again explaining above and have since heard nothing so it is a scam you cannot go where you choose you also pay additional flight costs that could cost you more to travel to the airport than the price of the holiday. You are also expected to fund your travel to & from the resort...
Not mentioned in the presentation and some how don't think we have any chance of getting a refund so what a waste of time and money. Do yourself a favor and save your money...0 -

Hi Blindman, I am off to Costa del SOL very soon.
Do they provide transport to and from the airport or do you have to make your own way to the hotel?
Thanks
