Glad someone else has done it, everyone thinks we are mad but as we see it, its a very cheap (not free) holiday for me, my oh, mys sister and her fella.
I can cope with listening to their waffle for part of a day for the sake of a week in spain!!
We're off to the Costa Del Sol on 15th June
Can i ask where the accomodation was?
If they mither we'll just mooch off i guess....

I have been to San Diego suites, Paradise and Duchally, where are you going, near Fuengirola? We came back today, had a great holiday although we have taken a TRIAL MEMBERSHIP.0 -
We have only got our flight details so far, all i know is that we fly from blackpool to malaga on the 15th June, we'll get accomodation details closer to the time but yes it must be near to fuengerola. I'm really looking forward to it
i can understand why people are dubious about it but i'm just looking forward to a week of sunshine, yay!!

My husband and I have been on two of these breaks in Costa del Sol with Club la Costa and are about to go again. Say no at the beginning of the UK presentation, we just say kids at uni can't afford it, Then get your holiday voucher plus whatever they are offering as a perk. we have had theatre vouchers twice and £70 in Marks and Spencer vouchers. When you get to resort you will be asked to go to another presentation.... just keep saying no thanks. It does work they only want people who really want their product.
Cost in total was £100 a person. Accomodation was outstanding, no way could you do this holiday for the same price any other way! BUT if you can't say no don't bother you will be caught.
Look out for less professional timeshare touts that hang around in close proximity to the resorts though they will and do rip you off.0 -
HI we went on 2hr (really4hrs) talk at CLUB LA COSTA. We got £25 and free holiday voucher after saying NO to joining their club.
We filled out holiday voucher for free holiday to cornwall and sent off £118 for 4 people. A letter arrived offering one of our dates and we filled it in to
the letter and sent it back to Exclusive Lifestyle Passport within the 14 days
limit.
After hearing nothing from them i phoned up to enquire. I was told they had not received my reply to their offer so the holiday offer was terminated.
I explained it's not my fault the letter didn't arrive ,either royal mail or their mail room, can i be considered for a holiday on my remaining dates, NO THE OFFER IS TERMINATED. I have lost £118 and a "free" holiday.
Has anyone else had letter disappear who said no to holiday offer.0 -
Hey
I've gone through the same company and was promised a holiday. I have had to endure a two hour sales pitch where they want you to commit to a mini mortgage. Once I said no - they became very cold and unfriendly.
They have now managed to con me out of the holiday. You have to choose 4 options 8 weeks apart not including school holidays. I couldn't go for the next 5 months due to work commitments so I only selected two that would fit in their requirments. They then allocated me two more dates and then selected one of the dates I couldn't go on. When I phoned up to explain I couldn't go on those dates they have said tough luck and taken my £30 registration fee and cancelled my holiday.
I believe it is possible to get a holiday out of them but they will try and screw you.0 -

Can you post the phone number Please of the Company...the website does not contain it!!
I have been to Leeds for the time share presentation, politely said "no", got my Vouchers and "free Holiday" - but I am a Teacher as is my wife and we are restricted to dates of travel, and many are not the required "8 weeks apart"....So need advice from exclusivelifestylepassport.com so that I don't loose my x3 £29.50's....
Thanks!0 -
Hi
Whilst delayed at Faro I did fill in a form for a free prize draw for a holiday and guess what, I won!!!
Had a phonecall from Select Holidays telling me that I had won and have to collect my vouchers in person. I did explain that I was dubious about this at the time, as it all sounded just too good to be true. The lady explained that in todays society, you should be wary, however this is not a timeshare and you are under no obligation to do anything you dont want to and they would still give me a week's holiday in Spain, Portugal or the Canary Islands. All for £29.50 per person and I would also receive £25 worth of high street vouchers.
I have just received the letter and I must be honest, I was slightly warming to the idea. Infact I was already planning when and where I could go. So, I thought I would do a little digging on all of the companies and websites that are mentioned on the letter. I found nothing of interest on the Club La Costa site and more annoyingly could not find a list of all their accomodation and resorts that they have in the various locations offered to me.
And then, I ended up on this site and to be honest, I think you have made my mind up for me.
I would have been keen to have a weeks hol for £60, but am not likeing that other threads have said it cost them £300 and that that was cheap!
I dont think I want to waste a weeks holiday from work, when they are far and few between and to be harrassed with a hard sell whilst on holiday. I certainly dont want to spend any more than 2 hours listening to them either (although I am confident that I would have been able to say no).
Thankyou (i think) for saving me some time and money.

Johnski15,
did you get anywhere with the school holiday date for the "free holiday"? We have been to a hard sell today got a £25 voucher and the holiday papers but as my husband is a teacher as well we are in the same boat as you. Would love to know how you got on.

we to had a phone call shortly after returning from a week in tenerife, stating we had won a holiday for 4 people in spain, portugal or tenerife, all we had to do was attend a short seminar where we would be given the option of joining 'the club' or not, but would keep the holiday vouchers and shopping vouchers no matter what.
we have just got back from the seminar and right from the start stated we were NOT interested in joining (my husband even sat reading the paper), he did get told if he continued to read he would be removed from the building. The very nice lady who was telling us about the product (ELP) could clearly see we were not interested, and agreed that they could not get us a holiday to match what we are use to paying ie £300 all inclusive. After 30mins they took us into another room and gave us our argos vouchers, and holiday claim form, and showed us the door.
this has got to be the best way to get a cheap holiday, as long as you are prepared to say no, and to accept the frosty reception off the manager who isnt very happy at you saying no continuously. Say no, tell them you only want the holiday for 29.50, and stick to your guns.
will post again once we have been on the holiday, to let you know what happens, the lady did tell us we will have to attend another short seminar whilst away, but hey whats 2hrs out of 1 wk. A word of warning she also told us that somebody had point blank refused to attend the seminar whilst on the holiday and had their bags packed and taken to the airport.
again if you can say no and mean it, you will be ok.:beer:0
