Welcome Roses and Rainbows! How are you getting on?

Healing vibes for Mr Ionafan, and congratulations to him on the weightloss. Sorry to hear about your cancelled holibobs Ionafan; let's hope he's back up and about really soon so that you can get away and visit all the people after all.

Shower room done, stairs done, things tidied generally.

    So sad today.
    Better is good enough.
  • Thanks for the warm welcome :)

I have made a great start. Kitchen/ diner cleaned following the list and it looks so much better. A quick phone call to a friend and then onto the living room which I have nearly finished. OH is going to wonder who the new domestic goddess is who's moved into his house :rotfl:

    Been a manic day today!
    - school run
    - coffee with a friend
    - Fatfighters (stayed the same. Hmph)
    - popped to shops to get dogfood
    - treated myself to getting my nails done :)

That was in the morning. When I got home from the nails I did about an hour round the house:
    - hoovered our bedroom
    - hoovered DD2 room
    - hoovered hall, stairs and landing
    - dusted hall, stairs and landing
    - hoovered front room
    - hoovered kitchen
    - cleaned the dogs bed
    - hoovered out the hamster cage (LOL)
    - de-pooed the garden
    - DW on
    - TD on
    - WM on

Then the afternoon school run. I'm fundraising for the National Autistic Society at the minute as I am running the New York Marathon in Nov (eek).
So I'm crocheting bunnies and unicorns for a group on Facebook. So I take my crochet with me in the car on the afternoon schoolrun. It was my birthday last week and DH got me a lovely new red and white spotty crochet bag and a matching case with a set of hooks. Lovely pressie.

In all of that I forgot to have lunch, so I've done an early tea, and we had prawn stir fry. Everyone likes it and it's WW friendly.

Sorry for my long lists but it makes me feel good about myself!
Since tea (which was soooo yummy) I have been a woman on a mission! I have:
    - grilled sausages to do sausage casserole in the slow cooker tomorrow
    - put away 2 loads dry laundry
    - TD on again
    - WM on again
    - wet stuff hung in airing cupboard
    - DW emptied and reloaded
    - washed and dried pans from tea
    - dried all the stupid plastic cups that refuse to dry in the dishwasher
    - cleaned down kitchen work tops
    - cleaned kitchen windowsills
    - wiped kettle etc
    - wiped splasback
    - cleaned hob
    - cleaned grill
    - cleaned hamster tray (pooo-eeee) and changed bedding
    - threw away rubbish from bed side table
    - rehomed fancy teabags I got for Christmas (I know!)
    - rehomed a load of medicine from whoever last had a cold
    - put birthday flowers (a week old - the shame) in a vase
    - sorted out recycling

Phew! Shattered! House is looking soooooo much better already. Even DH noticed when he got in yay!

Been gardening, weeding done for now, pot repotted, sweet peas seeds planted, but I think they might be too late for this year.

Evening all and a warm welcome to the new peoples

The warm weather hasn't reached here yet - though it hasn't rained today it's still only about 12 degrees.

I have managed to do most of the kitchen, apart from the floor.
Dusted all through except the sitting-room.
Bathroom was done yesterday as needed doing.
Have done the bank money shuffle for this week
Sorted all the recycling ready to go out.

Hugs, gws vibes and sticks as needed
Hope you all have a lovely Wednesday

Evening all, and welcome to new flyladies.

Dusted LR, DR (which DH is using as a dumping ground again ....grrrrr), hall and landing. Ran vacuum around, even all the way up to the top of the stairs. WM run, DW nearly done, kitchen tidied, messed up, and tidied again. Pots in garden watered.

Paperwork starting to pile up again, so that will have to be on the list for tomorrow.

So sad about events in Manchester. My DD is the age of many of those young people. Finding that a bit hard to get my head around. X
