I'm here and have been reading but not flying so didn't want to post. Been back to work today after being off for all of May so far with anxiety and stress. Today wasn't too bad but ............. Head has referred me to Occupational Health though so that's worrying me :(

Sat here trying to work out what R2 (as in D2) has to do with Baz Lurhmann before I realised I heard the song on Radio 2 this morning :o Can you tell I'm slightly Star Wars obsessed!!

Hugs for everyone - hope you and any pets are managing to keep cool in this weather xx

Sorry to hear that; it is a stressful time of year for teachers let alone what life can throw sometimes.

I've done hardly any flying yet today. Brother and SIL stayed until lunch time which was lovely. I've spent most of the day concentrating very poorly on another report. I will finish it this eve and will be able to start another, but my target was to complete 2 today so I'm feeling a bit naff about that. At least now the spare room is not occupied or visitors imminent I can start to fling holiday clothes and get a bit prepared. Walked up to PO with a couple of letters and collected currency today.

Mr N has been kind as ever keeping out of my way and doing useful things like washing spare room bedclothes, taking his mum out for a few hours, gardening and is now preparing dinner. Lucky me. Think a break to watch Chelsea FS is in order.

Still feeling quite unwell after yesterday's migraine, so Flying has been non-existent, other than Mr LW cleaning the outside of the patio door and adjacent window.
This is a bit random but I want to join a local ladies only cycling group, who ride on a Thursday evening but I dont know if I am confident enough to do it!!! Big-girl-I can-do-this sort of vibes needed I think.
Come on YL - big girl [STRIKE]knickers[/STRIKE] cycle shorts on. ;);)

:rotfl: Mr LW has had to invest in braces since he lost his "spare tyre". I'd started calling him "Droopy Drawers". :D

Ha! Thanks everyone, I did it. And it was great, and I spoke to people I dont know, and I am (mostly) managing not to over-analyse everything I said, and I am going again next week. Also took part in a tough meeting at work this morning, what a day!

Off paid stuff for a long weekend. Kitchen is a bit messy but it can wait until tomorrow. DS and I are going out for the day, looking forward to it.

Frodders hope things improve for you and LW hope the post-migraine feeling clears soon.

    Bedtime.

    Morning all

    Yay well done YL!

Restless night here, very hot so the kiddies didn't sleep well. DS up at 5. DW and WM are on, I'll peg out before school run.

3 hours paid stuff this morning, then taking relative to train station. Need to get fuel at some point too. Very glad kids break up for half term today, only got 4 hours paid stuff next week so not too much childcare to sort. Have great days all x

while drinking :coffee: 1 (the wake-up, but drinking in bed one) and pondering the weather today and over the weekend, and the list of chores I have decided to do the grass mincing this morning. I will have to start with the strimmer, it's that long. So I am not yet showered, but in mucky clothes. So :coffee: 2 and overnight oats going down, then i shall don my pith helmet and seize the nearest machete...

Woo hoo! Well done, Valli. :j:j:j And I agee, the thread is getting really quiet and it's been worrying me. I don't know what I'd do without it, even if I don't contribute daily.

    ((Hugs))) Frodders.

And well done, YL. I'm so glad it went well.

Bathroom given a proper drubbing, although I fear it could do with even more but I just don't have the time at the moment. We flew over at the chalet yesterday and there's still more to do but we're both heavily involved in the election so there are some things that will just have to wait.
    Better is good enough.

Mr LW and I have already cast our votes! We're going to be away on June 8th, so we've had to apply for postal votes this time; they arrived yesterday, and the instruction was to not delay, but do them soonest, so we did. ;)

Today the WM has been on overtime; it's such good drying weather, I've changed the bath towels and done a "hot wash" which included the bath mats; also washed 6 heavyweight skirts, and done a "normal" wash of my stuff.

YL well done on attending the cycle club; I know just what you mean about over-analysing everything you said, I'm just the same - even when it's Mr LW's pal, whom I've known for 15 years.

Just realised, tomorrow will be 15 years to the day since I moved in with Mr LW. Where has the time gone??
