Happy moving in anniversary LW X

    House dysoned
    3 X wm dried outside
    Medicine cupboard sorted
Airing cupboard sorted and distributed. Ironing basket filled for cooler weather
Scales showed 1.5lbs off and I was given another shiny sticker. My clothes do not look or feel bigger though so who knows where the weight is moving from.

Ds1's bed changed and covered up, to minimise cat hair deposits

after this morning's garden stint I went to work, came home, back in the garden...lawn now mown, compost bin emptied and borders, having been 'weeded' have been top dressed. Dead blackcurrant bush dug out. Green bin, emptied yesterday, is alread 3/4 full.
I am showered and shattered. But would have been stupid not to have used the time to garden, it was desperate.

Evening all. Sorry I've been awol for a couple of days. Not really sure why, but I keep trying to do just one more job....and then it's time for bed!

Well done, YL, for going to the cycling meet. I'm just the same on the over analysing after the event.

Valli well done for (ahem) losing your underwear. And to dancemum for yet more weight loss. Hugs to those feeling poorly or down.

Flying wise, I'm not sure that I have done any more than just keep on top of the dailies. I stayed at work yesterday longer than I wanted or meant to, which meant that I spent all evening doing the list that I had so confidently written myself at 7am. A couple of things crossed off, but it did mean that the finances got hit a bit harder than I would have liked. Purse strings need to be pulled in again, methinks.

DD is off tomorrow for a weekend camp. Her gear is bigger than she is! We're all just a teensy bit nervous I think, but braving it out. I will be glad when Sunday afternoon comes round and I get her back. Still, DH has booked for me and him to go out for dinner tomorrow night, which is a rare treat. In return, I have driven him and his friends to a beer festival this evening, and rashly agreed to pick them up again in a while. He will pay for this....cue evil laughing....:rotfl:

Oh and drum roll please......the HUGE frog that has been taunting me from the corner for the past year or so has been finally eaten up!! Not without a bit of anxiety, but nowhere near as much as I had been imagining. Thank you to all you lovely ladies here for inspiring me to get on and do something :A

Mr LW and I have already cast our votes! We're going to be away on June 8th, so we've had to apply for postal votes this time; they arrived yesterday, and the instruction was to not delay, but do them soonest, so we did. ;)

Mine hasn't arrived yet; fingers crossed for tomorrow as otherwise it may not happen before I go away because of Bank hol. Not that I have any idea who's standing for what - complete lack of information in Herts at the moment.

Well I'm down to my last 2 reports and both are part started. Looks like I may be free of them by the end of tomorrow, a day later than I'd hoped but never mind.

Apart from report writing today have:
    - done run 1 of week 5 C25K
    - been to Mr T
    - vacuumed and tidied lounge
    - seen a private student for her lesson
    - posted a parcel

Sorry Fliers that's it for today unless you count charging up the Kindle...no I thought not.

The agony and stiffness I anticipated this morning hasn't materialised and what a delight to look out onto something resembling a cared-for garden. Both my neighbours have lovely gardens with landscaping features they've done themselves...mine still not up to their standards but lots better. And instead of grey baked dry borders, thanks to the mulch of hm compost the soil looks better. It's a long-term project.

But I am off work next week and in charge of the thread so hopefully the house will look better soon too.

Hello ladies - sorry I've been lurking this week but I'm so exhausted that I haven't been flying much. And now next week there's a Bank Holiday Monday, plus half term  no rest for the wicked...

Building work is rumbling on, so I have decided to take my boys and the dogs down to Sussex for a few days to see family and friends and collect the skids. I mentioned this to a few people and now my diary is packed! Lots of socialising and catching up planned. I'm hoping this will be the tonic I need.

DH's interview lasted four and a half hours! Looks like there are lots of changes planned, and it's unclear whether he was being interviewed for promotion or a new venture in the offing. Have to wait a week for decisions to be made. Hope he gets it as his crown broke last week and the two implants he needs are going to cost £4K..._pale_

    Morning all

Well I went out with SILs last night for a non alcoholic drink as I was driving, came back at 11pm, DS1 was cooking pepperoni pizza so had a slice and went to bed. Slept for half an hour and woke up with indigestion. Phone pinged at 12.45am - DS2 was at a party and really wanted to come home. Sweatshirt and trainers on and off to get him. Then DH was snoring!!

I am doing some admin here too atb, need to finish my May spreadsheets then a pottering day I think.

Valli I know what you mean about the neighbours and gardens. Our old neighbours didnt bother much and the new ones are busy getting the house sorted so we dont feel too bad. We no longer have the excuse that we let the kids use the back garden as a football pitch though!

Ah .. one hungover teenager is here looking for coffee and paracetamol. And a hug it seems.

    Catch up with you later.

    Lost a post earlier

Cooler and cloudier here today, and had just a few drops of rain early this morning - but still a lovely warm breeze, so I am doing WMx2.
Read a whole book (some bits more closely than others) between 05.15 and 07.30, then went back to bed and slept until after 09.30 ;)
Now trying to tidy the study...

Hope you have a lovely social break, Dizzy. £4K for 2 implants :eek::eek::eek:

(((Hugs))) Froddy - keep posting

Well done on decluttering more lbs, dancemum :T Wish mine would fall off like yours - I'm probably not getting enough exercise :(

Well done YL. I was going to suggest cycling bloomers :rotfl:

    Busy busy HoneyB!

Narc0, enjoy your hols after finishing all those reports.

I am just about keeping on top of the dailies atm. Assignment to be completed this week.

See you all on the new thread x
