    Evening all,

Things looking up here, feeling a lot better over the last couple of days, especially since I started using a 'mindfulness' on the recommendation of the counsellor.

    Today I've:
    Wiped down large appliances
    Wiped down cupboards
    HHI ironing
    Chucked old food and,
    Wiped down inside of fridge
    Mopped kitchen floor
    Weeded front garden
    Mowed lawns at the back
Planted out flowers bought a couple of days ago
    Made dentist appt
    Had a blood test
    Done prescriptiony things
Visited my cousin and her DS and collected more pots to !!!!! out seedlings into.

Hugs, sticks and spoons to everyone.

Evening everyone. Thank you for the lists, ladies. I'm in, although I will have to hunt out my guag first. It's still not really back after its disappearing act last week.

Sorry that so many are feeling down. Hugs all round. Hopefully a bit of sunshine will help to lift the mood.

I'm not sure that I've really done much off the list today. Before work, I managed to sort of s&s the bathroom and downstairs loo, empty the bins, HHI, and put some ribs in to marinade for dinner. Said ribs have been cooked and eaten, dustbins out for the morning, WM run, kitchen sort of tidied and lunches sorted for tomorrow. That's about it, I think. Oh 2 bags of carp left the house in charity bags, so that was a bit of a result.

Another fun trip to work as yet more roadworks and traffic lights have appeared over the weekend. Chaos. Looking forward to repeating the fun tomorrow morning. Right, I'm going to make a cuppa. See you in the morning. X

    Morning all,

So so sad to hear what has happened in Manchester, my heart goes out to those affected. Mancunians showing an outpouring of love to each other in their hour of need is amazing.

Up early, DW unloaded, WM on, kids fed and spag bol in slow cooker. Still feeling low which really is daft, need to kick myself up the bum. I have cancelled an engagement for the weekend which I really didn't want to go to which has lifted me a bit. Too many people yesterday making demands on my time again (family) - feel like telling them all to naff off and leave us alone!

    Have good days all xx

ATB well done , I told so called 'friends' no to this and that, to get my time back and it worked, they don't keep in contact any more, but that just proves I was saying yes to easily, so no is my fav word now :)

Cleaned the inside of my car front windows, I can see out now
    All ironing done, empty baskets
Sorted out cleaning cupboard, and dumped some really old stuff, suprisingly everything goes back in there neater and organised.

    Right:-
Off to get salad stuff to make lunches for this week.

    - 1 load through DW.
    - 1 load in WM.
    - Checked and emailed a report.
    - Been to zumba.
    - Been to physio, who did some acupuncture which is a new one on me. - Got very excited when I saw a letter from NHS arrived yesterday, hoping it would be the shoulder specialist in time to do a miracle before I go on hol next week. No such luck; it was an invitation to a mammogram the day after I get back from hol.
    - Picked up Mr N's prescription on my way home.
    - ordered currency at PO.

    Time for lunch now.

Thanks again for the list- particularly enjoying the fact that a hair appointment can be made as part of flying :D especially as I haven't had mine cut since last September!!

After living room/hall way/stairs decluttering (which will take a while as hallway has been a dumping ground for all our stuff from the move that I need to sort through and find a home for) i might stop at Level 1 today to think about slow cooking dinner and cleaning the kitchen again, despite it being spotless at around 3pm yesterday!!
  • Hello everyone, please can I join you?

Just like JillD my house used to be super organised but due to a change in my work life it seems to have taken a hit. I've become very good at procrastinating and I seem to have lost all enthusiasm.

I have been reading this weeks thread and have decided to make a start with the list. I have all afternoon free and am going to go and make a start. I will report back later and let you know how I have gotten on.

    Welcome Rosesandrainbows

Lovely sunny day here again, so I've hung out two loads of washing.
I've also been to weigh-in (no change for me, though DH has lost 5lb this week), tidied all downstairs, S&S'd kitchen, cleaned all downstairs floors and emptied all bins. Then decluttered a productive meeting with my supervisor. Had lunch with DH and am off to college shortly.

Much saddened by what has happened in Manchester. It's beyond words.
