Hi , I'd like to rejoin please :) I was very active on the thread, and my house was super-organised about 9 years ago, then I had baby number 3 and it all turned to chaos. (I don't know how you do it piggers). Add in very frequent black dog visits and the house resembles a student flat (no offence students, but I know what I lived in as a student lol). My Dad died very suddenly last year and I really struggled with everything so the house got even worse. The laundry is backed up massively and I've got out of the habit of cooking and we rely on takeaways and ready meals which is expensive and unhealthy.
I've had enough now! So I thought joining you lot again might help. Having said that, I've woken with a migraine this morning but I still wanted to come on here and post a list of what I did yesterday because I'm so proud of myself for making a start! Excuse the detail but I want my done list to look impressive!
    So, done already:
    - cleared pile of clothes and rubbish by bed
    - cleared junk by tv in bedroom and cleaned surface
    - moved load of shoeboxes to garage
    - rehung mirror and picture (after decorating last year!)
    - sorted cards and bit of birthday paper (was both our birthdays recently)
    - cleaned en-suite sink and surfaces
    - cleaned en-suite toilet
    - scrubbed ensuite floor (OMG, so much dust and filth)
    - cleared out en-suite cupboard
    - cleaned bathroom toilet
    - cleaned downstairs loo toilet
    - cleaned downstairs loo sink
    - scrubbed downstairs loo floor
    - did 4 loads of washing
    - put away dry washing
    - dusted front room
    - sorted out and put up birthday cards

Wow that is a lot! I went with a half hour on, half hour off approach which worked really well. Going to have a sleep now and see if I can get rid of this migraine. Hope everyone has a good day xo

Welcome back JillD  I don't think we've met before, but it's always exciting when Flyladies return. I do sympathise re the migraine - I get quite a few myself, usually when I'm stressed and tired - so I hope that by the time you read this, you will have had a good sleep and be feeling loads better. That is a very impressive "done" list :T Your half hour on, half hour off approach seems to work well for you.

I have dealt with a couple of difficult emails and aim to write a couple more when I've finished my :coffee:. It is a beautiful day and I am planning to throw away my list and just go out and work in the garden this afternoon, so that I get some sunshine and we have something beautiful to look out on. I have bedding plants to set out in the pots, and I've decided to move the clumps of scraggy pansies that I took out of the pots to the NDN's strip of gravelly soil down the side of the drive, on our side of their fence, to give a splash of welcome colour. Then there are the new fence panels to paint...

DH is horizontal again, with his poorly leg elevated :(

Old Wives' meeting this evening :)

    :coffee: gone, back to work!

Welcome back GillD! Your yesterday sounds awesome. :) Sorry to hear several Flyladies are feeling gloomy, have some (((hugs))). *Healing vibes* for Cassie, YL's dog's eyes and any other poorly dogs. Kelpie sends healing licks. Sorry to hear DS2 is strugglig at the moment, and a (((hug))) for you Dancemum.

Third load twirling in the machine, two out on the trolley and line, fourth load of stuff generated by the dog all stacked ready to be done; big stuff washing up backlog cleared, sitting room dusted and vacuummed, stuff put outside to air that needs it and all doors and windows opened. Sort of meal plan talked through with OH after finding various interesting things whoopsied in the Co-op last night.

I'll need to do the shower room, bathroom and superking later today or earlyish tomorrow morning, so I'm afraid the kitchen will have to wait for a day or two. Things are a teensy bit out of control here as I'm cream-crackered from walking miles and miles leafletting atm.
    Better is good enough.

Paid stuff done, tip run done, volunteering done, two loads dried on line, poo picked.

Now eating lunch then will put clean laundry away, vac upstairs and have ten minutes before visiting PO and butchers. Then school run then home.

I am thinking of you all xx

Thank you all for the good wishes for Cassie. I'm pleased to say she's fine today; a 24-hour fast seems to have sorted her out. Otherwise I'd have had to ring her vet for advice - she's 12 years old now, so no spring chicken, and I was worried.
Anyways, she asked for her breakfast this morning, and she's had a nice walk in the park. :o
Plan is for me to nip out and cut the back lawn (if I can summon the energy) and hopefully we can have a game with her ball once that's done.
Other than that, Flying will be mainly deploying the Dys0n this week, as Cassie is moulting for England. :D

Feel-better vibes for those with migraines, gammy legs, colds, or otherwise feeling meh.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
