No - that will be her daughter - but both will have polo shirts - not shirts and ties!0

Oh, dear! The lad can't wear Primark Uggs so OP has to resort to plimsoles!Member #14 of SKI-ers club
Words, words, they're all we have to go by!.

What did the teacher say when you asked her that question?Barginhunter2000 wrote: »Hi my son 11 is in his last year of primary and is moving up to secondary in September.
My sons school shoes broke last week and I was going to buy him a new pair of school shoes but my son asked if he could wear his plain black lace up plimsolls as school shoes instead I told him yes as he would be wearing them from September anyway as his secondary school recommends them as an alternative to school shoes.
However my sons teacher gave me a call today asking me if I was going to buy my son a new pair of school shoes for 2 mounts use I said no she said ok as the plimsolls are not braking the rules.
Why ring me in the first place my son is not the only one on the school wearing them.0 -
Phew, at least the new secondary school will let him wear his lace up plimies, they even recommend them, what a result!
No doubt he'll look very smart in his plimies, polo shirts and no blazer and the girls will look a treat in their Primarni uggs. You neever know, they may even go the whole hog and insist on jogging bottoms instead of real trousers.
If only all schools followed this fine example of a uniform policy.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
What did Heath Ledger as The Joker say in Batman?

Plimsolls are as bad for your feet as cheap Uggs, be careful.0

I despair of schools these days. It's obviously a school in a very downmarket area. You don't see the posh boys wearing plimsolls.

I'm just trying to imagine how many email accounts they've created.. just to sign up multiple times to myriad chat rooms and start inane threads about school uniforms.

I know, it's bizarre!0 -
The boy must be doing pretty poorly at school to be constantly kept behind in Year 6. All the other posts by this person, dating back to last year, keep saying he's starting in September!
