Annoyed with sons school

Hi my son 11 is in his last year of primary and is moving up to secondary in September.
My sons school shoes broke last week and I was going to buy him a new pair of school shoes but my son asked if he could wear his plain black lace up plimsolls as school shoes instead I told him yes as he would be wearing them from September anyway as his secondary school recommends them as an alternative to school shoes.
However my sons teacher gave me a call today asking me if I was going to buy my son a new pair of school shoes for 2 mounts use I said no she said ok as the plimsolls are not braking the rules.
Why ring me in the first place my son is not the only one on the school wearing them.

Sorry about that so annoyed0

Can't see what there is to be annoyed about, given that apparently there isn't any sort of issue anyway.
I'm probably going to regret saying that. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
yey, I was beginning to worry something awful had happened to the phantom plimsoll-obsessive school uniform bleater, I'm relieved they are okay.0

You're so annoyed that the school wasted 30 seconds by calling you that you then wasted another several minutes creating an account and typing a post about it??0

Quite right too. You can't act too quickly where black plimsolls are concerned. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I can't see any reason to be annoyed. Your son has shoes. The school agreed they are fine. There are far bigger issues to worry about! Isn't it nice the school care enough to ensure your son is being provided for?
Getting so wound up about something so trivial isn't good for you. Chill.0 -
Does he have any Primark Uggs?0
