School uniform cost

Hi my son is starting secondary school tomorrow so through out the summer we have bought all of his new uniform but how does it compare to others ? I thought my sons uniform was reasonable.

School jumper with school logo £11x2
School polo shirt with school logo £9x2
School trousers £7x2
School shoes / plain black lace up plimsolls £4x2
Pe top £9
Pe shorts £7
Pe socks £6
Trainers for pe £29

Yay, it's been ages (at least half an hour or so) since this 'newbie' posted about uniform costs.

Well, at least you have a comparison with what 2 other people have paid for similar items and as the prices you've all paid are very similar you can at least be happy that you haven't been ripped off.

There seem to be a lot of kids returning to school this week wearing plimsolls rather than shoes.

Perhaps I should go and stand outside the local high school tomorrow and conduct a scientific study on the topic?

No I don't get bored this is the first time I have ever posted. And I bet if u reshuched u would find a lot of schools allow plain black pumps as alternative to school shoes
