russian sage. Which soil? in pot
This plant likes well drained soil and can tolerate drought well. I`m a bit unsure about which soil to use. It will be in an earthenware pot. I live in a new build and there is a pile of top soil near by. Would that be suitable or do you think that a john innes might be best and if so what number?

Green ground cover? Instead of slabbing!
Small area 10 by 12 ft, overgrown with weeds, limited access to area, it is at front of property. I am reluctant to cover with stones ect. Can I plant something that will cover the weeds/ground with no maintenance? First ever posting on any site. :confused:
