Probably get shot down for asking a 'newbie' non-sensible question. How are you guys getting over the 10 receipt limit? I know some people use their phone apps (I don't have this) but others must be using it on the computer. I have tried clearing cache and cookies but computer still says NO!

Use a iphone and send the voucher to your email to print or find another address :)

Afternoon all, not sure if posted yet as my internet has been down all afternoon :( Just had dispatch confirmation from BS for my 3 orders and the first one has gone through fine but other 2 do not contain the soaps just the expensive ones :D so have just been charged the £2.99 delivery :D fingers crossed the same has happened to others :D x

just wondering when and what time you placed your order, seen a few orders that have been dispatched but mine are saying "awaiting dispatch"

    thx x
It's the thought that counts.......I think a lot!
  • Hi,
got some confusion over Johnsons after doing a search there are two bits of info that are conflicting.

One I have read says you need to buy in evens and include a cheap 400 m l Johnsons Baby Bed Time Wash to make everything compare at £1.22

    Alternate one

    Pot Amb Rice
    any Johnsons on MSM site
    buy in 3s inclding trigger.

Second is favourite - but please have I got this right as dont want to buy it all and be wrong

    Thank you

    It's similar to tumeric:D

GREAT IN INDIAN CURRIES & LENTIL DISHES
A blend of asafoetida, rice flour and turmeric. This pungent spice considerably mellows when fried and takes on a pleasant onion-like flavour. Use very sparingly.

Make a delicious curry by frying a small amount in hot oil at the start of cooking, before adding your usual ingredients.
Great in Indian-style chickpea dishes or lentil dhals.
    HTH:)

Adj.1.foetid - offensively malodorous; "a foul odor"; "the kitchen smelled really funky"foul-smelling, funky, ill-scented, fetid, smelly, stinking, foul, noisome
ill-smelling, malodorous, malodourous, stinky, unpleasant-smelling - having an unpleasant smell

I actually have some of this in my spice cupboard!
I must have bought it sometime when it was RTC but have never bothered to find out what it could be used for.
Now I know, a curry is definitely on the menu next week, as I really must now try it.:D

    <sigh> here we go again.

Just back from a couple of hours off to see it has all started again so once more for those who didn't see it the first time:

Please stop bickering! The ethos of this site is be nice to all moneysavers.

I do my best to keep this thread on track but TBH it is getting to be a nightmare lately. All the aggravation and arguments, bickering and unpleasant comments will only lead to the thread being CLOSED, possibly permanently, if it continues.

    Well said Redfox :T:T

Surprised to see asofoetida at that price, I think I paid about £2 for some a couple of years ago! Can't for the life of me remember what it was for, think it was something Indian, still have about half a pack in the cupboard :rotfl::rotfl:

Had a very productive day, totally on my own! Christmas cake is out and cooling, Christmas pud is out and cooling, new router is set up and working, two loads of washing done and folded. Even found time to nip down to T's for my fave peanut butter (the value one of course!!), job done :T:T
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

    Good afternoon Elite :hello:

How's everyone today? I've not ventured out today as been sorting through a mountain of paperwork :( no not shopping lists for Mr A :p just family history papers :)

I sent a message to A HO regarding the apgs ove £15, as my local had said told me I couldn't put the remainder on a gift card
Anyway, I had a phone call earlier today telling me that all A stores have been told that if a customer is spending a large apg pre dated 22nd Sept they can have the remaining balance put on a gift card.
I asked for them to email me stating that so if I have a prob in store I can whip out the email. As yet it hasn't arrived, so I will wait until I get it then go back to my local.

Has everyone got rid of their large apgs please? I feel I may be the only one left with a larger that £15 now :o

Hi, i have a apg for £22 which i plan to spend tomorrow,i will let you know how it goes.I dont know if anyone else has noticed this but even when i pick a young lad sa they now always ring for a sv to check the apg and its the sv that seems more relaxed about it.

I think the sa's do think it comes out of their pocket, grumpy so and so's:D

Edit: manners how are you today? :D

I am just fine, thanks for asking.

4 shops? Bloody hell. How do you manage them? I'm doing 1 every 4 days and I feel like I am being watched. You and some of the others on here are ever so brave.

Think next week I shall do a shower gel and handwash shop. Keep the suggestions coming peeps and peepesses.
