Who does the food shop in your household?

We go together normally, with the three kids.
Did he really do a _monthly_ shop for £69?0 -
I'm on shopping strike at the moment!
:rotfl:
Wonder how long it will take him to get sick of quick meals? Please keep us posted angel!
My OH does all of the shopping (as he does the cooking so he knows exactly what he needs to buy on a weekly basis).
Theres just the 2 of us - I think we spend about 30 pounds a week (including toiletries, cleaning products etc). Not too bad I guess - but I definitely think theres room for improvement!"Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" Well as I said, it' been three months so far and he shows no signs of giving up yet. But this is the man that when we met was living on tubs of ready made mash and falafel so I think he's going to be a tough nut to crack . I know I'm getting fed up of "easy" food, I do like a good home cooked meal. I make up for it at lunch though by eating properly, even if it means walking to the supermarket but I still refuse to do a proper shop for both of us out of principle!

Sometimes I do it online, or we both go together at the weekend. I want him to know what to buy, if ever he has to do it on his own, and he is pretty good. He knows we are on a budget, I don't like letting men off doing things because we think they can't do it, they love that and play on it, I think. He picked the wrong woman for that.

I do the weekly shop. OH would be useless. I hate the weekly big shop. I treat it like a trolley dash!
And dont get me started on the price rises. the peas and marg i normally buy have shot up in price. along with everything else.Just to win anything would be great!!0 -
We do our shop together. I think it helps sometimes as we I might be tempted to waste money and he talks me out of it and vice versa. Also, sometimes one will spot offers that one misses and things like that. We're always really proud of ourselves after our shop although i would still like to get it cheaper.
