i only shop at asda now and again, they say its cheaper than tesco, everytime i go there i always spend more than i normally do at tesco. the asda and tesco are near me, i find the people who go to asda are .........its not a very nice area of london, compared to where tesco is......please dont think im being a snob, .... ive even noitced it in the staff i feel welcome at tesco at asda, i feel like im not welcome. i feel like im on a conveyor belt........? myself......
Skintas, you no need to explain, my asda is in a clampit area and that is why I don't shop there, Mondays are just awful, I think they must get there benefits then.
The quality is certainly not upto the likes of Tesco, and its not cheaper."Wisdom doesn't automatically come with old age. Nothing does, except wrinkles. It's true, some wines improve with age. But only if the grapes were good in the first place." — Abigail Van Buren0 -

I went to Tesco for my shopping yesterday and was shocked by how much they had raised their prices. I shop on a very limited budget and have to keep a tally of how much I spend as I go around and so have a fair idea of prices on things I buy regularly. Just some examples, TV sausages up from 16p to 55p, milk up from 78p to 83p, minced beef up from £1.20 to £1.50 and that's just since the shop I did last week. So as far as I can see they may be slashing prices compared to this week's cost but I don't think there'll be much different from last weeks's and certainly not from a few weeks ago.Debt busting! Hi,
Went to Asda today, no mince or butter @ 50p, then done a big shop at Sainsburys and noticed that their Basics mince was also 50p.
Forgot about looking at the butter though

Hi Guys!
I have just made an online order with Asda coming Tuesday 1st July and everything is showing as 50p. I have ordered 15 butters to put in the freezer and some of the milk. I have ordered over £50 to get the FREE delivery code. I also noticed that their frozen minced lamb is £1.30 for 500g which does us 2-3 meals for the 3 of us. Loads of good offers throughout. Have also ordered a few take-away style meals.
