Asda/Tesco price war this weekend cheap shopping for DFW's

If the offers on line in asda and they are sold out they will sub it with higher priced item but still charge you cheap price. Tescos charge you more expensive price.

During the war, sausages weren't rationed because they had so little meat in them, I suspect some of these will be similar...

I had an email yesterday from Tesco, telling me that delivery prices have gone down on some slots ......but I haven't logged on to see how much by yet

I too hate the quality of Asda food, and our store is dirty looking and smelly. I made a comment the last time I was in there looking for school trousers and the customer service desk agreed with me, they said as it is a 24 hour store they find it difficult to deep clean. (a bit of vingear, I told her would do the trick!) Tesco and sainsburys for me.

You have the option of handing anything back to the driver for a refund, we would moan if they didn't sub it with something, they are not a charity and of course Tesco will charge the price of the actual sub, I wouldn't expect anything else......they can do no right according to some folk, and no wonder I left retail, its a nightmare environment to work in and really low paid too.

I wasn't complaining just letting people know that Asda only ever charge lower price its their policy. Problem I find with tescos if if they have subbed it with higher price item I normally don't give it back to driver as I find it is always something i need and the hassle of getting it elsewhre isn't worth it!!

they only apply the discount if its valid at time of delivery

Eg banana reduced to 50p on sat and sun. Ordered sun and delivered monday. Price in store monday £1 you get charged a £1.

i only shop at asda now and again, they say its cheaper than tesco, everytime i go there i always spend more than i normally do at tesco. the asda and tesco are near me, i find the people who go to asda are .........its not a very nice area of london, compared to where tesco is......please dont think im being a snob, .... ive even noitced it in the staff i feel welcome at tesco at asda, i feel like im not welcome. i feel like im on a conveyor belt........? myself......
