Afternoon everyone. Am sat at work counting down the hours until home time. It's tough staying motivated with redundancy around the corner.

I went to Glasto in 1995. It was the year that Pulp reigned supreme, was blisteringly hot (I had a sunburned scalp so had to stay with my hair in the plaits I had in for a week after cos it hurt soooo much). It was great. In those days though Reading was my festival of choice. Stopped going to festivals about 4 years ago though. Too expensive. Going to see how much I can scrabble together though for Summer Sundae in Leicester cos I love that festival (although I quite like to do bestival as well). No money unfortunately.

Hope everyone is having fab days though.

    Mola x

Yep! Me too and I had the sunstroke as well. Pulp were fantastic. I remember Jarvis coming out with this great oneliner:
"We're just like you..we're camping as well..except our tents are made from gold lame..!"

    Happy days :)

Pulp were the band of the festival. I remember Sorted for Es and Whizz being just about the most perfect song for the festival ever. Not that i would know anything about that of course.

I was down the front for Oasis but was deeply unimpressed (they redeemed themselves at Knebworth though). It's all quite hazy but I seem to recall Orbital being rather good too!! And of course, The Charlatans played too which always makes me happy. And in those days I was a hormonal 18 year old so my infatuation with Tim Burgess was at it's peak!! ;)

    Happy days indeed.
