Personally I would pull everyone together to discuss where they think they are going with this band. There is no point what so ever in spending time writing tunes if you are just going to play to yourselves on a sunday evening. You have masses of time between now and the end of august to get the tunes tight, so there is no excuse on that score.
I would tell them that either you work towards paying gigs or you will take your tunes, hire another couple of guitars and move on with a new band.
But anyway..I won't hijack thread the thread again...Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

I've GOT to hoover the pit I call my house at the minute then get ready for work-I have a home measure at 12 and need to leave by 11.30 and I also have the mother of all ironing mountians that I have been ignoring and has now taken over retailiated by doubling in size overnight *sigh* I hate bluddy ironing...
Work today, and tomorrow, wedding (which I am still not sure I am going to as a Singleton) then 2 days off! woot woot!
Hi Bunny, I've left my personal phone in the studio (doh) I have 2, a work one and an other stuff one, so I haven't had your text. I'll wander up and pick it up tomorrow.
I'll have to see about next week, I may be doing some Air traffic stuff. I don't know, work is coming in, getting dropped and shifted about right left and centre at the moment.:A

Lie....In??? What's that then? My darlings had me up at 6.30am (alarm goes off at 7am, but it's a pet hate of mine to get woken just before the alarm!) and with the astromicial pollen count my eyes feel like someone's stapled them closed.
Got a mad busy day, just snatched an hour for myself while DS had his nap (just hearing the 'Mummy where are you' type meeping now!) to do my clicks and enter some comps, then nose to the grindstone at Chez Obi.
Hope everyone has a good day, I might manage a cup of coffee in the sun (if it stays sunny), but you know what? I'm happy. And I hope veryone else has a busy, productive but happy day. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Right, got conservatory (otherwise known as the 'playroom') sorted-pet hate of mine is disorganised toys-and now to hoover! (Am I the only one that loves to see how much stuff is actually gathered up by Dysons?) the off to work *sigh*
Sar, I would listen to the advice of Music guru Toto, she knows of what she speakeths. That's my lecture for the day over...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
I'm with you on Glasto being my idea of hell!!
In fact any of those music festival type thingys!
Big G's son is almost 18 and he's going to T in the Park this year, apparently it's a nightmare for pick pockets and stuff.... and i was giving him a lecture about drugs n stuff. Laugh is, he probably knows more than me!!!!
Yay - just checked Quidco, i'm gettting £65 back this month. £50 of betfair for grand national, which won me £30 at the time for a £5 spend. £15 on some lotto24 thingy, which was a £5 spend too, although it never won me anything.I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
I've been to Glastonbury nine times and this is the first one I've missed for years. I'm actually pretty glad after last year...mud reaching the top of my wellies and a generally jaded feeling of 'I've been there done it' many times - but i also do have some wonderful memories of happy sunny, carefree days listening to some fab music and lots of people watching..enjoy all who are there/are going/watching on TV and have a lovely Glasto weekend xx0
