Just saying 'cheers' again to you Jackie0!

Catowen - what a fantastic prize! Well done to you! 'Arrods, eh? There's posh!

Well, yes Redruby, I did find a lump in my throat thinking of Jackie0 and, as Donny has said, the support from this thread is great. It's so genuine and heartfelt that it makes me quite emotional; I so wish we could all be together at a time like this, don't you? Still, a virtual party is the next best thing!

Anyway, off to help DH with his packing - if I can stand up straight after a tot of the falling down stuff!

Hi gang I am here at last .I have had a terrific day .All the treatment is finished,:j and I got to sit in the garden with my G&T at long last .
On the way back from the hospital at lunchtime I decided to go to the local adult -ed and see if I can get back on my Uni course .I bumped into my tutor there and she dragged me into her History class and I got a standing ovation for being so keen that the minute I had finished at the hospital I went straight there .I have signed up for the third module of my CCS course and it's The Victorian Age which I am really pleased about .
I then went to fill my car up for the journey to Norfolk tomorrow, and my youngest DD phone me and said 'Don't bother cooking Mum I have done a celebration dinner for you tonight' .So I went to her house and got smothered by all five children jumping all over me with ballons and streamers They are pleased their Granny is on the road to recovery at long last .I finally managed to get home at 9.00.p.m. to find my eldest DD on the doorstep with a big cake and another bottle of gin 'for my holiday ' She has just gone home and I thought I must get online and say thank you for all the good wishes and lovely things you have written
It's at times like these that you realise how the 'net' brings folk together .It helps to share the good times and the bad. Some of you I know have had some really tough times in the last year but with all of us being there for each other it does help to share the load .So a great big thank you to you all from a daft old woman in North Kent
God Bless you all no matter what God you follow
Love as always JackieO , Rainham, Kent xx:A
P.S I am hoping to get away with wearing just a baseball cap whilst on me hols so if you see a batty old pair of dears anywhere on the North Norfolk coast in the next week, one of whom has a very short hairstyle say Hello and I'll even let you have a tot of my beloved G&T
See you all when I return xx
