  • Yeay!!! Thanks so much for this - I did this the last time this offer was on - its a great way for us to get away for a couple of nights! Thanks again!!! ;D
    :coffee: I love saving money!
  • I just think Travelodge management are to be congratulated on being sensible...better to have some income rather than none. And if you stay you may well eat at an associated on-site restaurant.

Over last year have taken advantage of the £5 offer, the first £10 offer, the £25 and the latest £10 one. With one exception all rooms have been fine...much better quality than the equivalent French chains. The exceptional was Luton which was rather ropey but adequate.

    TravelInn pleae note...and do same.

  • Warning to anyone booking a lodge room in Ashford - avoid the weekend - there's a club right next door so it's generally full of drunken clubbers.

Desperately trying to book as many rooms as poss for New Years Eve at Ashford, it's my birthday and all my friends congregate there - why won't it let me book them for £10 do I have to enter a code?

As I'm looking for something similar on the French side, which chains have you stayed in, Kitty, and which ones do you recommend?

  • If there are rooms left on the days you select it will automatically tell you about the £10 offer. If there aren't it will just give a list of the normal prices.

I wanted to stay for New Years Eve, buy I couldn't find any near a city centre that were open. Had to settle for 29th and 30th, still looking forward to it, will be a nice break.

FORMULE 1 are DIRT cheap and quite basic, but you get everything you need. They all look the same inside which is a bit disconcerting. The breakfast in them is worth paying the extra few euros for too, great strong french coffee ;D I think they are the cheapest. Who needs luxury unless you are staying in bed all day!? ;D
